I am in Metro Detroit and am planning to take a day trip to Bettie's Pages this spring, but in the meantime follow the store online since meeting the owner in Ferndale, Michigan at Ban This Book Fest. When they posted about their clearance sale being online, I gave no second thought to a late night gifting haul. I was shocked at how quick my order arrived, less than 48 hours later! Incredible items and cannot wait to come visit. Thank you guys!

Bettie’s Pages is a wonderful bookstore with great staff and impeccable curation. I always find small print authors, new authors or more niche books here. Definitely somewhere to peruse and let the books speak to you! I drive an hour round trip just to come here and it’s absolutely worth it every time! Don’t forget to say hi to the store kitty!

What a find ! Driving back from Ionia to Grand Rapids on Fulton Street I found a very nice bookstore in Lowell. Huge selection of very interesting topics relevant today. Room to browse, places to sit and read, even a great little cat to welcome you. Easy access on Fulton Street, lots of parking space, very nice environment. Definitely worth a stop to check them out. Highly recommended.

It's a lovely bookstore with great employees. I've been coming here for a while and everytime has been a great experience. The owner is very sweet too. And the last time I was there they had two adorable kittens running around!! They were friendly and loved to play. Definitely made me fall more in love with the place. They have a large selection of books from all kind of genres. The back of the store was opened up and now there's even more young adult book selection. I also love seeing the employees leave notes of books they liked. The store also has lots of stickers, pins, bookmarks, socks, and some many more things. The atmosphere is pretty comfortable too. They very openly support LGBTQ and BLM which I love to see. And they supply mask to put on before coming into the store.

Our second visit to Bettie's Pages and, wow, we are still completely blown away! It was worth the 2 hour 20 minute drive to get there. Once you step inside, you are welcomed by bright, beautiful book displays, tees, stickers, socks, smiles, and all the things that make everyone feel welcome and loved. The selections are diverse and inclusive. Throughout the different genres, you'll find some familiar favorites as well as many that highlight minority groups that you might not find in other places. The children's section is packed with books to represent everyone. The displays were phenomenal, and I could have gotten lost in those for far longer. Whether you're looking for a book for yourself or a gift, or even some awesome merchandise to brighten a day, it's worth the stop. Bonus is the happy smile eager to greet you and help with any questions you may have. We'll happily be making this trip again.

One of the loveliest bookshops I have been to yet! And lots of room for them to grow. I'm from the Flint area and was in grand rapids for the day and stopped on the way home. Tons of book options from fantasy to adult, to spicey, to mystery, and kids books from picture to middle reader to YA. Graphic novels, cookbooks, dnd stuff, and classics. Tons of stickers and some pins and earrings too. And you can order online as well!
