Wordsworth is first-rate, and we're lucky to have a locally owned bookstore of its caliber in our area. I gave up on Wordsworth under its previous ownership, which was consistently rude and even hostile to me, and began buying books from Barnes and Noble and, in the past but not now, from Amazon. But after I did a book signing at Wordsworth a few years back and met its new owner, I've returned to doing business there and am glad I did. I recently ordered some books the store didn't have in stock which I wanted to give as Christmas gifts, and they got them to me in no time flat. Today, when I asked about cookbooks for children, the staff person who helped me turned loose of what she was doing, though the store was busy with Christmas shoppers, led me to a selection of cookbooks for children, and explained to me the advantages of each one. I couldn't have been happier with her service, her kindness, and her helpfulness — as I was, too, with the store owner, who checked me out and engaged me in a friendly conversation. How small local businesses treat customers makes a world of difference. Under its current ownership, Wordsworth does a great job of making customers feel valued and welcome, and that's why I'm now doing business with this good bookshop again.

This store is a favorite stop of ours during our weekend trips to Little Rock! It’s so cute, the staff is very sweet, and they have a fantastic selection! One of my favorite purchases here was a signed copy of a Riley Sager novel! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the bookstore. And found my next book there. I also found it very informative that the staff left review cards on books they have read. Very nice and friendly staff.

Great book selection, adorable children's section, some cozy reading areas, and plenty of high quality nonbook giftables as well. There was a story time event going on as we visited, which was perfect for my daughter. Loved to see the beautiful gift wrap station, and hope to see paper from there under my tree this Christmas!

Drove all the way up to go, but they are closed today for inventory? So sad. Never been but wanted to look. Just wish that was clear before driving up this way. It’s on their instagram that they are closed, but if it says open online other places/known for being open normally during that time it’s a bit inconvenient. Hoping to come back and change my mind.

A magnificent bookstore that takes great strides to support its authors on every level, with extraordinary customer service. If you're looking for something hard to get, autographed, or very niche, they can get you taken care of. A great business in the community, too, that participates in local events frequently.
