When I visit family in Layton, B&N is a favourite place to retreat for some ‘me’ time, choose a new book from the great range (the pano photo shows my favourite area) - and enjoy the best caramel macchiato in town! It has a fantastic section for children and youth readers.

Barnes & Noble in Layton is a fantastic spot for book lovers and anyone who enjoys a relaxing shopping experience. The store has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with well-organized shelves that make it easy to browse through their wide selection of books, magazines, and more. Whether you’re into bestsellers, classics, or niche genres, there’s always something to catch your interest. One of my favorite things about this location is the children’s section. It’s thoughtfully arranged with plenty of seating and an impressive variety of books for kids of all ages. It’s a great place to bring kids and encourage a love of reading. They also have a good selection of educational toys and games, which make for thoughtful gifts. The cafe inside is another big highlight. It’s the perfect place to grab a coffee or a snack and sit down with a new book or just relax for a while. The staff is friendly and helpful, whether you’re looking for book recommendations or assistance finding a specific title. However, like most bookstores, some items can feel a bit pricey, especially compared to online retailers. But for the experience of being able to see, touch, and flip through books before buying—and the cozy atmosphere—it’s well worth it. Overall, Barnes & Noble in Layton is a wonderful place to shop, browse, and enjoy some downtime. Whether you’re a reader, a gift shopper, or just someone who loves a peaceful spot to unwind, this location is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Great place to find a book. My son was looking for a manga series that he found there which he could not find at other stores we had visited. Easily could have spent an hour or two looking at books and the store is pretty big as well. Overall customer service was great and the store is worth a visit.

Went in to help get my daughter some Manga, place was packed which made me happy that the book is holding it's ground. I thought, for sure, the digital would've plowed on through the old fashioned books popularity, but nope, people still like their books. Anyway, the line was long but they were quick, friendly, and efficient at the registers, making the long queue not so long of a wait, which is awesome! Go Barnes & Noble, mighty fine job!

I love this location. The staff is awesome. I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ve gotten some really awesome book recommendations from some of the girls who work there and ended up absolutely loving them! They really took the time to help me find something that I would enjoy. Which I appreciate so much!

So I love B&N. Because I love books, and normally I dont have any issues. This last visit in Layton Utah was normal, but weird. The floor worker asked if I needed help, and I did, but they acted like me saying yes was a huge inconvenience.

I needed to pick up a copy of a magazine that was supposed to be available here. I was a bit intimidated by the LARGE selection of magazines. There are literally hundreds of titles and I couldn't find it. I asked someone behind the register to help me and she looked it and and confirmed that they had it in stock. She walked over to the newsstand and helped me find it. This place is great. In addition to the magazines, they have tons of books for adults, teens, and kids. They even have a music section of CDs and vinyl albums. If you want a gift, there are lots of choices from bookmarks to journals to pens. And they have a great cafe with yummy pastries, coffee, and other quick snacks to enjoy. You can even park your bike outside. This place is a wonderful place to find your next book.
