Juliana Bookstore

This small used bookstore is located inside the library and is worth checking out while its open. The set up is good and while small, there was no one else when I visited so I got to browse through everything pretty quickly. The quality of the used books was a lotttt better than I was expecting. I think its genius to have this inside a library so I hope its maintained

Stopped by hoping to buy a book for a Christmas present. This store is located inside the library. Google Maps has its location a bit off. Directly to the left once you go to the main entrance. The store door being opened, I went in to browse. After apprx 5 minutes, a staff member from the library came in and told me that I wasn't supposed to be in there. I explained that the door was open and asked if this was not a book store. After a brief, terse conversation, it was explained that they are a private library with very little public funding and that they're short staffed and have recently started the store. Fair enough, it just seems odd to shoo off a potential customer. Stayed long enough to look up Dog Star books (whose owner was very cool) and went on my way. Would have loved to support them and included pics, but it was not to be. Good luck to them.

Sweet lady running the store today. This is a well organized and great used bookstore. Items are displayed to catch your eye without the shelves being crammed with books. It invites you in to take a look. Prices are super reasonable. Glad to support the public library.

As an avid reader, I was excited to discover the Juliana Book Store located in the front corner of the Lancaster Public Library. They have a wide selection of good, used books -- paperback and hardcover -- at very reasonable prices. Added bonus: A great coffee shop (Square One) and a wonderful ice cream shop (Lancaster Sweet Shoppe) are located a few doors away!

The ladies in the book store are nice people. They will always help you find what it may be you're looking for. Take a moment and visit, who knows you may find it as interesting as I did, if not you can always explore the library as the bookstore is inside the Library.

The prices were so cheap! I found a book that came out just a few months ago that normally goes for $35 for only $7. I'll definitely be back.
