Book Exchange

Had so much fun looking through all of the books. There are SO many is it was really fun walking up and down the aisles. I left with 4 books to add to my own collection 🙂

I've been going here for years. It's the best place to find books at a good price. Also, the smell along with the coziness of all the books in a small place makes me happy!

Lots of choices, many different genres of used books.

This used bookstore is fantastic! Very well organized. Cheap! Walked in hoping to get one book at a decent price and walked out with 10 for 20. Pretty good when I was expecting to spend at least 50 for those same 10 online. I’m definitely going back to this bookstore!

I've been buying and trading books here for over 20 years. The selection is good, the owner knowledgeable, and the prices are fair .

If you want to buy a book in Lake Charles, this is the place to look for it. As in may good used bookstores, you may have to dig to find what you want. For instance, notice that the classics sections is in two separate places, with one set of classics shelves at ground level under a few shelves of more popular books. Diligent hunting will be rewarded. The friendly staff is a plus.

I have been going to The Book Exchange since I was about 12 or 13, I am now 39. The owner is an amazing guy and the deals are great. I can't say enough about how fantastic of a store this is. I always visit when I come back home to LC.
