Willa's Books & Vinyl

Very impressive, organized collection of judiciously curated books. I'm sure the music/vinyl is the same; I did not look. Willa is on site and is a pleasure to work with. We bought several rare books and pamphlets related to America's complex racial history. We look forward to buying remotely from Willa, if you are local, you are lucky.

I absolutely love this hidden gem!! Ms. Willa is super sweet and extremely helpful!! I came in looking for vinyls for my nephew. She played each record and checked out each song before I purchased my vinyl. She has so many books of different genres and vinyls of every music category to choose from at very reasonable prices. I absolutely love this store and Ms. Willa!!!

Willa's Books and Vinyl is a treasure trove of important books and records, very reasonablypriced. When you walk in, you're greeted by warm music comingfrom the record player. The goods are on display, with some interesting decor throught. Be sure to allow yourself enough time to browse! You won't be sorry.

What a great time we had in the Lord! Willa's book store in KCMO a must visit. You'll find a lot of one- of-a-kind materials. Be prepared to explore history....all history but it was the Black history content that stole the show for me. I can't wait to go back. Thanks again, to Willa's book store for hosting my cousin and featured author Mrs. Deborah Fleming 1st book signing event. It's was an awesome experience and Ms. Willa and her family are a beautiful group of blessed women ❤️ This is a five star bookstore 🌟 Let support our "Black" owned bookstores.

Small, intimate bookstore with a cool environment and a conscientious owner. 🙂 When we walked in they turned on some music for us while we browsed and were ready to answer any questions we had about the books. I was impressed by being surrounded by all the history. There was a roomful of books old and new and an entire room devoted to old records and jazz memorabilia. Will definitely be coming back for more purchases. I picked out three books but had to choose one.

A wonderful hidden gem - Willa is lovely and helpful if you’re looking for a certain author or books by topic. Great for books by BIPOC authors, history, activism, music. Great collection of vintage LPs/records.

This place has a great collection of books and art.
