Lemuria Book Store

An almost overwhelming selection of books - which is ✨perfect✨ for book lovers! I was only in town for three days, and I had to stop by Lemuria every day.

I came after seeing this on a list of "must see" places in Jackson and the article was correct. This bookstore is amazing. Friendly employees, well organized. If you come in on the first floor, I saw no elevator, the best bet is to drive around and go in from the outside. Reasonable prices. I would spend all my money here if I could.

I had no idea that such a lovely bookstore existed in Jackson. I found out about it on tiktok and made it my mission to visit when I came back. I did and did some damage! I love everything about Lemuria. I love the sculpture of the hand holding the book. I love the smell of books. I love the stacks of books on the floor. I love the section dedicated to MS writers. It's everything a bookstore should be. It's the type of bookstore I hope to find at home. However, if I can't find one at home, I know where to find this one.

Incredible book store. Great selection while also highlighting local writers. Would be going here regularly if I was a local and I look forward to visiting again during future trips to the area.

Me get books. Me read books. The books have now expanded my vocabulary, leading to this review: a colorful selection of non-fiction and a wide variety of fiction, including a whole section for those who read a majority of fantasy. In all seriousness, though, Lemuria was a welcoming environment for all people, no matter what.

Amazing store! We absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere. The employees were friendly & very helpful. Great place to visit!

One of the coolest bookstores I've visited. They have an endless number of signed first editions from a long list of authors, including premium binding limited print run signed first editions as well. Most recent signed books are regular retail prices. The older and more rare ones can get up there. This will be a regular visit for me when visiting nearby family. Finally, the employees were very very helpful and took their time to show me around, answer questions, and even tried to find a hard to find book for me. Excellent!
