Books-A-Million

I’m a book person so of course I could spend hours in a book store looking for books I’m interested in. I was slightly disappointed in the 20% off advertising though cause it’s very misleading. The advertising said store closing. Everything in store 20% off.. I assumed each item would be 20% off I only had 3 books and 3 bookmarks. When I got to the register they only took 20% off the whole total and I ended up spending $119 for the 6 items. I kinda thought the price was kinda high just for what I bought but the books were well worth the read. The employees were very helpful with helping me find what I needed and kept checking in to see if I needed anymore help. All in all I enjoyed spending the time looking through the whole store and was happy it was well kept and clean even though it’s closing down

Wow this place is awesome! Besides the extra large selection of books, they sell a wide variety of everything from book marks, to tote bags, to puzzles. I could have spent hours in there. Great for gift giving as well. I also found a coupon on line I was able to use in the store and they have a great discount card for a small yearly fee.

Been going to this Books a Million store since it opened years ago. I have a Joe's Mug hat and coffee mug, coffee for 50¢ if you have a Joe's Mug cup. Things were a lot different then. My main concern now is not with the store but with the employees, not very friendly at best. I not talking about greeting me at the entrance which always seems fake. When checking out I'm always the one to say thanks, have a good day but it use to be the other way around. Went three times last week and each time got a frappe, one was a 16oz instead of 20 and they all three had big chunks of ice in them. The last one I had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to show up. A person walking in the store ask me how long I've been waiting and when told went through the store until he found someone. The person waiting on me was cold and made the worse frappe I ever had. I told myself no more Books a Million but I'll probably go back, it's the only book store close by.

Store brought on many memories of my childhood. The staff was kind and generous as well as the on location coffee ship being better than I remember. I hope they remain open so I can return each year just because now.

Came in and a couple minutes later, an announcement over the intercom said "5 minutes til close." We proceed to scan the area we were looking for real fast because we have 5 minutes and the security guard came up behind us rushing us out and we were looking at the time and we had three minutes, but we were just agreeing to go and he walked right up behind us the whole way to the door while other customers were still browsing. Absolutely horrible customer service. Love the store, but we will not be returning to any of the locations due to the bad customer service.

Love it, always feel relaxed and my kids are soooo excited to run to Kids-A-Million , we can make a day out at the book store. Sitting on the floor ready, the coffee shop, or the seating provided. They have ordered several books for my daughter that she wanted that they did not have on store. Very accommodating.

Hey, a REAL bookstore! With books even! And a cafe! But seriously, it's clean. It's (mostly) organized. And most of the staff are helpful. One guy tried to help my husband find a book, only for us to be told that it wouldn't be out till next month. (Spoilers: it came out last year AND my husband managed to find it on his own. Lol) But other than that, the prices are reasonable for both new AND used books/movies, and it's easy to get to since it's right off the highway! You can't really go wrong with this place!
