The Bookwyrm

This bookstore has a good selection of books, and the owner seems nice. However, the lack of regular business hours is a major issue. The store is not open consistently, and customers have to rely on Instagram to see if it might be open that day. This is inconvenient and unprofessional for a retail business. While I appreciate Huntsville’s growing book community, this shop currently feels more like a hobby than a business, as an actual storefront should have reliable hours and follow what’s listed on its website.

I wasn't notified at the time of me selling the books that it was only for store credit. I drove across town twice, once to drop off and once to pick up. The staff was nice but also communication was a huge issue.

Nice little, well organized book store. I found several books that I had been searching for for the past year. Also had a gathering are with tables for people to use.

Very reasonably priced second hand books with extra spots for local artists to sell some of their creations. Definitely will be back

I've been to The Bookwyrm several times now and have had a great experience each time! I was able to trade in a box of books when they were preparing to open, and was able to redeem the credit without issue. I love to pop-in and check my favorite sections, but then always end up browsing the entire store since she is always adding in more stock! If something hasn't been added to the system yet, she'll add it during check-out so you can still scoop up your find.

This is the cutest little bookstore. The owner is so sweet and they have SO many books to shop from! I love a used bookstore anyway, but something so small and local is an absolute gem to find.

Small bookstore so not a huge selection. You've got to know where it is so you turn in time when you're coming off the parkway. Proprietor super friendly! Parking is easy.
