Wegmans

Update 12/29/25: I probably shouldn't have eaten it but I was in the mood for one of those apple crump pie minis. I don't know whether the fault was Instacart's (the pie was delivered on its side--yes, seriously--innards were oozed out into the box, stuck to the bottom of the tin pan, apples are limp) or whether Wegmans actually had the pie on the shelf looking like it did (see photos). It didn't taste all that good either. I pray I don't get sick or something... I know! Why did I eat it??? Desperate, I guess; they were so good when I went to the store myself around Thanksgiving. The sell-by date is 12/30/25. People beware! Ugh! I do not know what is happening to my local Wegmans, but I am tired of substandard, rotten--maybe even dangerous--greens and fruits in produce, Spring Mix packages filled only 3/4 of the way; unintentional soy/seasoning-free vegetable fried rice (fairly tasteless, except for the onions). EXHORBITANT prices on everything, especially meat... I'm sure they'll not come back down any time soon, if ever; and they'll blame price increases on the current "Administration" and "tariffs", but it's been heading in this direction years before recent events.

Last Monday evening , I bought bread from the bakery of the store, like I always used do. I was having that bread at breakfast the next day, I almost swallowed a huge chuck of glass that was in the bread. Thank God my kids didn’t try the bread before me. Otherwise one of us would’ve been dead because of the negligence of the people working in the bakery of this store. Will never buy anything from this store again. When I went to the customer service to let them know about the incident, one of the guys was questioning and wondering where the glass came from. It’s your job to find it, not me. Go back to CCTV and check who broke the glass and didn’t clean the shatters. Poor customer service! If I could give less than 0 star I would!

We've been visiting Wegmans in Germantown for the last few years. This location is enormous and has a diverse selection of quality products, most at a competitive or better price. The staff are kind and helpful, yet you usually need to request assistance instead of waiting for someone to come and ask if you need help.

Massive grocery with a plethora of your familiar brand options. I was in the neighbourhood and getting hungry, so I browsed around the ready to eat area for a while to figure out what I wanted. There were a lot of options, from Asian, to a host of different sandwiches, salads, jerk chicken bowls and hot foods by the pound. Will def be by next time I’m in the area.

I received a couple gift cards for this place and am very glad I had the opportunity to check it out. The store is large with many parking options (both times I came). The selection was similar to every Wegmans I've ever been to, which is a great thing. They have so many awesome offerings rather than a typical Giant or Safeway. Prices seemed mostly reasonable as far as I could see as well. I look forward to returning there again.

26July2024 My first time in this location and this was the most outstanding experience ever. I came in here to get me something for breakfast/lunch and Wegman’s did not disappoint. Everything is fresh and local. Anything and everything for every pallet is in here. Fresh, fruits, vegetables, breads, desserts, sandwich’s, cookies, cheeses, hot foods, and fresh sushi. This is a food destination. There is so much too choose from that anyone will be satisfied. There are two eating areas, one outside with umbrellas and then the other is inside before you get to the food area. There is ample setting. The ease of navigating through this destination was so easy as the layout is spacious and shopper friendly. A wonderful staff member assisted me today,(due to my hands being full)and she was so helpful. She made my shopping experience the best ever. I enjoyed how she spoke very highly of her job there. She represented herself and her company in a professional and welcoming manner. I’ll definitely be back. A must stop and guaranteed you won’t be disappointed and you will leave out with a couple of sandwiches like I did. Or a bag full something you didn’t plan on buying.

Thank you for putting Joseph in your Deli meat section! He is not lazy and will fresh slice your meats without a bunch of flack. That young man is a asset to your company and it's refreshing.
