My favorite sushi restaurant/counter in Frederick. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi (of varying quality), from grocery store takeaway to fine dining spots up and down both coasts; I can confirm that this place is the real deal. They carry some truly great quality product and they know how to serve it the right way. The food is delicious and prepared + plated with care. Staff is friendly and attentive (including the robot). Great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. Remember to splurge for some toro sashimi - it’s always worth it.

Food is good (we tried Korean side of the menu and few sushi rolls) but service is VERY POOR. Do NOT bring hungry kids in there, you will regret big time 😂 It takes forever to get your meal. Even ice cream took 20 minutes to be served. The only reason this place is still operational is because of location. Owner clearly does not try to do better. Its our 2nd time and we will not come back.

Nice place. Clean bathrooms. Seated quickly, but it took a few minutes to get menus and drink orders. After that service was timely and accurate, and the food was good. We mostly got sushi and it was pretty good, but this may have had more to do with the seasonal nature of the cuisine than the kitchen.

First of all, a robot brought us our food, which was awesome! The atmosphere is very nice, almost upscale. Our food looked beautiful, and tasted great. The only real issue we had was that the service was a little slow. There were only two tables in the restaurant, yet we sat for a while after we finished eating waiting to be checked on.

Ordered spicy shrimp appi and two sushi rolls. Shrimp was just three pieces and a mound id sliced veggies in a sweet sauce. Sushi Rolls were nondescript something with rice and soy sauce was extremely salty. No explanation of either roll and no service plates provided or offered to eat from. For my money Lazyfish is far superior for Sushi.

We sat at the sushi bar tonight and ordered the sushi for two and one special roll. We enjoyed our complimentary salad and miso soup. The sushi entree was decadent, with very tender fish, and nicely prepared. We also enjoyed chitchatting with our server about music and were impressed with the drink selections (fruit ale and sake). We will definitely return.

This place is fantastic! It’s a bit more upscale but is worth it! The food is great! Some of the best sushi I’ve had recently! The gyoza was also very delicious! They use a little robot to deliver your drinks which I thought was super cute. The service was quick and she was very patient with our questions. I will definitely go back to try more of the menu!
