Barnes & Noble

Haven't been in there in years and the atmosphere was still great! The smell of books was still amazing with a hint of coffee in the air 😍.

I love the store Barnes and Noble! I love books! It is a very warm inviting place to buy books,coffee drinks,music,and etc. The prices of the books, the way that they have the layout of the store and the center of the store where I saw a couple of workers helping customers are all just so wonderful. The store is very clean, i didn't see any dust any where, the carpets looked great and no trash randomly on the floor or everywhere. Only downsides that I saw was outside the store and in the parking lot was quite a bit of random trash. It seemed slow going of people getting checked out. Also while I was upstairs looking at the romance books section I could not find a person who worked there. I had a question or 2 to ask but didn't see anyone while I was walking around the top area. It seemed like everyone was downsides. Maybe people we on break in those areas but I am not sure. I did not into the music area and maybe if I did I might have found someone in that area to help me or get me help. No one asked me if I needed help while I was looking around too. I think it might disrupt the calm vibe that the store is portraying If someone did go up to people and check on them. I am not sure if it(checking on people)applies here at this store or not. Some people might be disturbed or annoyed if you asked them if they needed any help. Many different opinions over this matter. Customer service is key in making sells.

I bought several items for Christmas. They had a nice selection of gift ideas. They even had a large display of Moomin items which made me smile. They are from Finland, and I was happy to see they have found their way here to Evansville.

Went in this morning looking for collectible cards. There was an entire row of 6 boxes of 2025/26 Topps basketball cards that had a price label clearly on them for $21.99. I asked for 4 of them and the attendant grabbed them then said that she needed to double check the price that it might not be what it says. Turns out they’re $84.99 a piece. I asked if she would honor the price (for 1 of them even) since the entire row was labeled incorrectly but she would not.

It was amazing experience and I got all the books I wanted but to top it all off my cashier was the sweetest!!! Her name was Gala and she was so sweet and so nice. I hate checking out at places I’m really awkward and it hard for me but she was so sweet it was by far the best check out experience I’ve had by far.

This is a pretty nice store. Quiet and relaxing they have a good selection. There are two stories with escalators for access. There is a Starbucks cafe there. There is a good selection of children and educational content. The staff was helpful. No complaints.

We had a great time shopping around at Barnes and Noble! They had every book my friends and I were looking for. This is probably the biggest Barnes and noble I’ve ever seen! We got help finding the book Dune and there are so many copies! The lady helping explained all the different copies and then I ended up accidentally buying a Spanish copy!! Whoops! Great place and great employees!
