Werner Books and Coffee

By far, my favorite bookstore in Erie! They have a great selection of new and used books. My daughter and I love going to all the wonderful, free children events they hold. She LOVES hanging out on the couch and reading while I shop! They also have a fantastic cafe, especially their seasonal themed options ☕ One of my favorite parts, is that they buyback adult and children books, for store credit!! The staff is so friendly and super helpful. 100% recommend this LOCAL bookstore 📚‼️

So cute in here. You can tell it’s community oriented. So welcoming and a quiet, perfect place to study or read a book. The coffee was very good! My sister didn’t like her coffee and they were happy to remake it for her! Will be back!

So many great selections. Coffee bar is as in-depth as their book selection. Fun nooks to rest in. I attended a special poetry event on a Sunday. On a different occasion, we met the local author of a book they had for sale there. It was purchased before knowing and they signed the book !! Wonderful space.

Werner Books is such a fun place to browse and buy! I usually walk out with more than I can carry, but I have made peace with my book problem. (I don't see the problem.) They have an awesome kids' book selection, both used and new - plus fun classics for all ages. And I love the rewards program that kicks back some money for you to spend later. Their coffee and pastries are also delicious!

Very cute place with a very nice vibe! Coffee is pretty expensive at $4 for 12oz cappuccino but I think the coffee flavor really makes up for it. One thing to note is that the flavored drinks are NOT crazy sweet, which is exactly what I like! Just be alarmed!
