Little Shop of Stories

Quaint bookstore at the heart of downtown Decatur. This bookstore has charm and character. Friendly staff. It’s a nice bookstore especially for children’s books.

Located in downtown Atlanta, this bookstore is tailored for children. They have a relatively small section for adult books, with the main focus on children's literature, ranging from baby's first books to young adult recommendations. The curation here is exceptional, with a wide selection of age-appropriate books for infants, children, and young adults. They even curate accompanying items that align with the developmental stages of toddlers, kids, and teenagers. The walls are adorned with vibrant illustrations. They offer a diverse range of children's books that you might not find in large chain bookstores.

I went for a book signing. Professional and attentive staff and associates. Pleasant atmosphere with parents and children choosing books and learning materials. Very enjoyable

Cute local bookstore, offering a wide variety of nifty gifts and unique genres of books. Plus a discount section!

Absolutely loved this store! It’s predominantly a children’s book store that hold different types of events. They have book reading and meet and greets. They even have local writers that work at the store. Amazing customer service and an amazing little shop. Will return .

Little Shop of Stories is such a gem! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and it feels like stepping into a storybook. The staff is always so kind, helpful, and genuinely passionate about books, which makes the experience even better. My kids love exploring the children’s section—it’s magical and full of imagination—and I always find something special for myself too. It’s the perfect place for readers of all ages, and we’re so lucky to have it in our community! 📚✨

So cute!! I loved the personality of the shop. There was something for everyone, but especially for children and babies. I left with a book I hadn’t expected to find and a few funny/cute stickers to give to my friends. Would definitely come here again!
