Past Present Future Comics

I love going to past present future!! My boyfriend took us for our second anniversary and i got a bunch of pokemon cards and pulled some of the cutest ones!! The lady at the front is always so sweet!! If you love comics, collectibles, war hammer and table top this is a great place!!! Amazing selection!

Past Present and Future has been consistently unpleasant for decades. They are notorious for treating patrons, customers, and potential customers poorly, and my experiences across three different locations prove the pattern has never changed. My first experience was years ago when they were in Sunrise off Oakland Park Blvd during my high school and early college years. The cashier hovered over me as if I was planning to steal something. I was not allowed to open a comic to see if it was what I wanted, and the cashier had a nasty and suspicious attitude the entire time. I stopped going after that. Years later I wandered into their Lauderhill location without realizing it was the same store. The atmosphere was the same unfriendly environment and I felt unwelcome asking basic questions. I did not return until their going out of business sale. Even more years passed and I found their Davie location. This time the experience was even worse. The employee was rude, condescending, unhelpful, and accusatory. I walked out and promised myself I would never return. Eventually I was told that the store had changed. A new lady was working the counter, and management claimed they wanted to leave their past behavior behind. I decided to give them another chance and even bought a stack of comics. I thought maybe I had finally found a place where I could start doing subscriptions. I was wrong. While waiting in line one day, I overheard a customer complaining that his pulls were not done correctly. The employee blamed the customer and refused to fix the issue. I mentioned another comic shop that had plenty of the comics he needed and thought nothing of it. I made my purchase and left. When I returned about a week later, the manager confronted me and claimed that I had yelled in the store for customers to go to their competitor. That never happened. Even the female employee corrected him and said I never yelled anything. Despite this, the manager told me that I was no longer welcome in the store. Past Present and Future has not changed. They are rude, dismissive, and hostile to the very people who keep a comic shop alive. I gave them multiple chances across multiple locations and the treatment has always been the same. I have many friends who have subscriptions with Past Present and Future, and I will be personally advising each one of them to subscribe elsewhere. This is the most unpleasant comicbook store I have ever visited and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Very nice people, not so much space, just enough. Prices are, in fact, a little bit higher than other shops, but the area is good food spots nearby. The store owner is cool too.

Favorite local game store. They have everything from comics to TCGs, to figures, gunpla, and accessories for all the aforementioned. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

They have tables were people can get together and play thier games, it's been awhile since I've gone in there good amount of Manga and lots of comics. Snacks.

Clearly these guys are in need of more up-to-date reviews, as any tattooed, baldheaded menace mentioned in past ones was nowhere to be found. Instead was a couple whose lives I could not help but romanticize, as I watched them warmly interact with customers and make their dinner plans for the night after closing. Walking in gives you a very good and joyful kind of overwhelm (if you like comics, manga, figures, board games) and it's almost difficult to pick a spot to start. Their collections of each were both inclusive of latest hits but also contained many interesting but less known options if you don't care about leaving with something specific in hand. This was particularly true for their board game section, which I was not expecting (I just knew they had comics, manga, etc) but was pleasantly surprised by. The employees/owners were also very helpful and explained to us some things we didn't know about comics and the series we were interested in. I'm from the area and visit a few times a year and will definitely be back.

I absolutely love this spot! Very friendly and knowledgeable with a welcoming environment. Definitely has all your gaming needs! I pulled The One Ring from a Booster box!
