I was visiting town for a wedding in Feb ‘26 and stopped by this bookstore. The selection is expansive and the atmosphere is very relaxed. They have a small bar section right when you walk in and a little bakery section at the back corner. Throughout the place there are places to sit and read. It’s worth checking out to find your next favorite book.

Very cool spot with good sandwiches. Ambiance is lovely and service is great. Mahi Mahi sandwich was superb, quesadilla with bacon and cheese was also really good. Burrata Salad with grilled peaches was just ok. Plenty of seats inside and outside.

Great experience! Didn't expect a outdoor cafe and bar in the middle of a bookstore!

Although the book store is lovely, the service has always been extremely subpar. I’ve had bad experiences with the staff in the past, but never wrote a review because it was always bearable. Today’s experience left me speechless, it was unprofessionalism like I’ve never seen. When our original waitress left her shift, we left the bill open because we planned to continue ordering dessert and drinks. After waiting an hour for the new waiter/waitress who never showed up, I asked one of the other staff to please call our server. We waited 20min for the server to show up just so we could pay. I decided not to tip to make a point of it because our original waitress did all the work and this person had just shown up after almost an hour and a half, done absolutely nothing for our table, and then had the audacity to come complain and say "just so you know, tips are not included, especially if you’re gonna sit here all day." For one, I’d been there less than 3 hours, and not only would I have tipped, but I would have ordered at least 3 more items if service had been even just decent. (Edit: btw she said this and walked away like a coward before we could respond, so clearly she’s aware of how messed up this is). I didn’t think it was fair to tip a waitress that did NOTHING for me, just out of an expectation. It seems that they expect tips for not doing their job, and I’m sorry but I won’t do that regardless of the nastiness they can come back with. Years of coming to this place and this experience has left me in shock. Best of luck to her working in the service industry with that attitude and entitlement, hope it works out better so she doesn’t have to beg.

Super chill spot to read, listen to jazzy music, or to just hang out in a quiet, classy spot. Obviously there are a ton of books, but there is also a lovely café to order food, coffee, and other sweets. And the bar is open in the evenings, along with some live music on the weekends. A great vibe every time.

Amazing spot. Very laid-back and chill vibes. Place was amazing. Felt like a old school book shop. There’s even a restaurant and Cafe or you can order drinks while you check out your book or magazine in the patio. I spent about an hour here today. If you’re into books, I highly recommend this place. Prices are affordable as well. Nothing is inflated. The workers were also very helpful. I would definitely be coming back soon.

Like pretty much everyone who reviewed Books & Books, I found it quite charming as well. They have a couple rooms of books so not the largest selection, but really tall stacks and organized very well. Aesthetically pleasing store for sure. In the opening room with the cash register, most of the books’ covers are shown which makes it much easier to find what you may like. Sure, you can’t judge a book by its cover but sometimes that’s how you shop! They also have a cafe and, I think, a bar! Or they did this particular night. And those were super packed. So I guess those are good reasons to check out your local book store to ‘’read’’.
