Nephi's Books, an Independent Deseret Bookstore

Fantastic shop! I was in a bind and needed a scripture set for a baptism. Online was a 7-9 week back order. I found Nephi’s though a google search, called the shop, and the scriptures are on the way! The gentlemen I spoke to was incredibly helpful and kind. They are shipping the scriptures out of state and they will be here before I need them. Thank you!!

Loved this store so much! When we get to a Temple the times are few and far between. So traveling through S.C. and going to the Temple with a Bookstore and Distribution center across the street was a bonus. We wanted to buy everything! Great selection of items. Felt the spirit even through the art there. Highly recommended, quiet store, clean bathrooms and friendly staff. 💜

Such a nice place to visit. We never come away empty handed. Such a nice selection of books, art and decorative items for the home. They love to help but don't hover. Attend the temple, then right across the street visit the store - a Win Win !

The staff member working at the bookstore was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I live in North Carolina, so I don't have the opportunity to visit often, but I always stop in when I am visiting the Distribution Center or the Temple. The music and ambiance make browsing a pleasure.

Great content, but be careful when buying during the final clearance period. Clarify the final price of each item at the register or you might find yourself getting home finding things other than advertised. Pricing and price tags aren't as clear and obvious as the sales signage and even price tags state. They offered to refund the book, but that's an hour trip...longer for others. Check your receipts.

Always a great store! Get all your spiritual books, music, accessories, etc. But they have a large amount of fun little nifty gifts and things, so many fun items, even some board/card games! The atmosphere is nice. Everything may be a little expensive, but it is an independent bookstore, so... Have fun!

I love this store. I visited it often while on my mission to Soouth Carolina from 2014-2015. I was able to purchase some wonderful outdated used books that I wanted as well as Christmas gifts for my family. The owners and staff are delightful.
