What a treasure tucked away in the Galleria across the hall from the YMCA. Make a stop here for a peaceful moment when you’re in the area to enjoy a quiet moment, coffee, a game of chess with a friend, or browsing the books 📚.

Coffee? Delicious. Breakfast croissant? Delicious. Atmosphere? 10/10. My boyfriend and I are from out of town and stumbled across the Browsing Room before going to the R&R Hall of Fame. I am SO glad we stopped! Food and drinks were made fresh and truly were so tasty, and the owner is LOVELY. I wish we lived closer! I’d be here cozying up with a book every weekend.

The Browsing Room Bookstore & Cafe was a hidden gem I found while looking around at coffee lounges in Cleveland. It’s tucked away in a relatively empty mall but I felt like that really played into the experience. It’s like a library mixed with a coffee shop so if you’re an avid reader you’d probably love this place. They also have plenty of milk alternatives for beverages and plenty of seating for multiple groups of people.

This was such a wonderful find! I wandered into the bookstore after parking below the Galleria for a journey to the CPL - I figured I would cross through and hopefully find my way there. Beckoned by a sign promising coffee and books, I was so impressed, welcomed and delighted by this bookshop! The owner was so friendly and helpful :)! I was also very pleased with the selection and left with several purchases, including a nice hot chai latte :). The owner even gave this bumpkin directions to the library, where I am now writing this! Highly recommend, especially for the warm bistro feel and comfy "bookish atmosphere"! 🙂

Had a lovely visit to this bookstore! Warm and inviting. A very nice book selection, charming owner and delicious hummus plate! A bright light for sure. A great place to sit and read or visit with friend over coffee. Best of luck!

Such a beautiful hidden gem in the city of Cleveland! We found perfect first editions of vintage books you can't find anywhere else! Customer service was spot on, everyone was so kind. We will always stop when we are visiting.

Credit to the Northeast Ohio Indie Bookstore event for letting me know about this nice place. This bookstore is located inside the Galleria at Erieview, although Google Maps might lead you to the entrance on Erieview Plz, that door is locked! You can enter from the automatic door on E 9th St or a single door on St Clair Ave, follow signs and arrows after entering the building. This bookstore is a great place to read and escape from your daily chaos, they have a Bluetooth speaker that you can connect and play your own music. Also a projector so might be able to have some fun activities too. I had to run because my meters were coming to time but will definitely come back 🙂
