I absolutely loved visiting here! Lots of stairs and then bam! The owners is very kind and knowledgeable and the store is packed with used books at super reasonable prices. Good vibes, movie nights, and a book club were some of their community building activities, love to see it and I wish we had anything similar to this near me locally!

As a Dreadhead for the horror universe and an avid reader, I must say..this store is arguably my favorite store in town. The owner, Trinity, makes sure that the store is stocked full of a little something for everyone. Slashers? You got it. Ghost stories? You bet! Thrillers? No problem! Classic horror? Why wouldn't she have it?! Young adult horror? She's got you covered. This store even has a whole wall/shelf dedicated to the King of Horror himself, Stephen King! (Big fan over here). Not only does this store have an amazing selection of horror literature, but it also has a wide selection of horror memorabilia. Pins, apparel, bath bombs, decor, homemade items, and more! The best part of this place, is stepping into the door getting hit in the face with childhood nostalgia. Seeing all of your favorite horror movies and mascots plastered on the wall is just real welcoming for us horror fans. Lastly, if you are new to horror literature, Trinity had a vast knowledge of different authors and great titles to get you started! Thank you, Trinity and The Dreadful Bookshop for bringing something unique, fun, and refreshing to Casper! Do yourself a favor, and go visit The Dreadful Bookshop! You'll be DREADING the fact you didn't!

The Dreadful Bookshop is so amazing. The magic land for fans of horror, thrillers, true crimes and not only. Trinity, the owner, is a walking encyclopedia of anything horror/thriller/true crime related. If you are looking for something, she will know where to get it, either at her shop or soon - at her shop as well. Give this place a visit, see the cool mysterious atmosphere, grab a book and enjoy every minute of it. Love this place.

The Dreadful Bookshop is exactly what Casper needed. I haven’t lived here long, but this eclectic and imaginative space makes me feel even more at home. It’s cozy, curious, and filled with heart. Whether you’re hunting for a unique read or just want to soak in some creative energy, this place is a true gem in Natrona County.

Friendly and kind owner, fabulous decor, wonderful prices. But, if you are disabled, it is up 4 flights of stairs. There is no elevator. The owner is willing to bring your purchases down to you, however.
