I had a great experience at this Barnes & Noble. The store is bright, organized, and very comfortable to browse. The journal and writing section is especially impressive with so many styles and high-quality options. The gifts area is well curated, and the fiction section is easy to navigate with plenty of new releases on display. Everything feels clean and spacious, and the staff keep the place looking well maintained. It’s a relaxing spot to spend time, whether you’re looking for books, planners, or small gifts. Definitely one of the nicest bookstore layouts I’ve visited.

So I am a big book nerd, and if there's a Barnes & Noble around, I'm definitely going to be in it, this one was no different.Love the staff there. They're absolutely great. They helped me find a couple of books that I was looking for No Complaints at all. They never do. The inventory is always amazing , even their c d collection.

Love this new location on Kildaire Farm Rd., for B&N in Cary !! So easy to get in and out of, new beautiful store, ceilings high and light and airy. Perfect for looking for the next best book or just browsing and ending up at the Cafe for a coffee or tea or 🥐

A cool setup I haven't seen before. It makes it easier to get lost, but that's not really a bad thing in a bookstore. The staff still knows where everything is and was very helpful and friendly. The front is lined with new fiction and non-fiction if you prefer to not get lost. Would highly recommend for anyone who doesn't know to spend part of thier day!

Beautiful new store but knocked 2 stars out for the layout. It’s all open concept, no private nook at all. The big, soft chairs are gone and, instead, there are a few leather chairs with wooden arms in high-traffic areas. There isn’t much space to spread out from other people like there was in the old store. The cafe’s open space concept is disappointing. Even computer desks are designed in such a way that the entire cafe area is able to see your computer screen. Too public for my taste. I do like that there are more outlets to charge your device(s) than at the old store. There are 4 bathrooms in the store. 2 marked "gender neutral" but there is absolutely no difference from the other two, so I’m not sure why the two have that sign. Kids area has cute bookshelves in the form of a train and a Lego table with a few Lego blocks. Since the store is open concept, there’s no designated children’s space - you just find yourself walking from the young adult section into the small kids’ section. Not a fan, to be honest.

I had a very good expired today. I chose to buy a physical copy of Nightmares & Dreamscapes by Stephen King along with a bookmark that fit my mood perfectly. When I checked out, they helped me sign up for the free version of their rewards program. I received a coupon for the cafe, so I went over to enjoy a dollar off a cold brew, which I enjoyed while I read the preface of my new book.

I forgot how much cool stuff Barnes and Noble has! My son loves it, only down side is sometimes the starbucks inside is packed and there are people working and all the tables and chairs are filled so he can't get a snack and sit and read his new books.
