Kinokuniya Bookstore - Carrollton

I liked it here 😍 wide selection of comic books including figures and other things. They have Shapphic, GL, BL here 😤 I don't collect them but it was good to see it being available in-store.

The store is great, lots to look at and the inventory here is awesome. Obviously it’s more anime than anything but it’s still worth checking out. Organization could be utilized just a tiny bit more but still not a huge issue

This place is super crowded everytime i go. They had tons and tons of different blind boxes when i went and there. Staff was friendly and check out was extremely fast

this is absolutely INSANE. as a professional trinket collector i dedicate my time traveling to different shops and areas to find the perfectly crafted blind boxes to ever graze my fingertips. i thought i hit the jackpot with this store…i must admit..at first it looks convincing but as they say, looks are deceiving. to all my anime fans and trinket collectors out there, save your time. i purchased the toilet edition smiski and i didn’t even get that. please look at this picture and tell me what the damn this looks like, because it certainly isn’t a friggin smiski. SMH *face palm* i am so disappointed.

As others said, the staff is so rude. Even when purchasing something, their attitude is really bad like they hate working there and if there is no line, in my last visit the cashier made it feel like I'm bothering them to buy ONE item to check out. In the past too, I had the experience ifyou ask a question he'll straight up ignore you. I wanted to support brick and mortar stores , specifically because it's Kinokuniya , but this last visit, despite being my second time will be my last. Other Kinokuniya locations might be smaller but at least you won't deal with their rudeness so just go there. Heck even B&N and other stores, also brick and mortars, has the same selection and even better pricing. It's also overpriced so honestly I can't recommend this location with the attitude they have. Having power trips is crazy.

This is an excellent place to check out for any people into anime, manga, Gundam, figurines, art books, collectables or other similar product. My wife and I stop by the area 1-2 times a month and I always stop by. They've kept me up to date on Kagurabachi recently and I grabbed G-Fred there too - which is a cool kit.

Very cool bookstore that gives you plenty of options to choose from, comics, stationary, pens, posters, and way more!
