Zawadi Books

Wonderful space dedicated to 50 plus years of providing Buffalo residents with the truth. Friendly owners and welcoming atmosphere

A lovely little bookstore with a great selection of fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books by and about people of African descent. While the shop’s isn’t open many hours during the week, the selection and friendly staff members make it well worth the visit! Happy to support this black-owned business and will definitely come again.

A great independent book store who provided much knowledge about African American graphic novels. They were especially helpful during the Black Lives Matter movement. I am very grateful for the help they provided and the direction given.
