This is the best comic shop. They have such an amazing selection ranging from silver age to indie comics. Danny who works there is fantastic. I'm old and only carry cash (cause I'm afraid of credit cards since my grandson stole my identity), and she is so patient with me and helps me count my change (I especially like quarters and dimes), and recommends the most delightful books. Kyle and Griffin are also oh so kind and have great recommendations. Great people, great service, & great comics.

Now this is a really cool comic shop in Boulder. It's been around for a while and has a blend of modern meets classic mom and pop shop. It's pretty big for a comic shop, but a little tight in some areas. But that is due to all the stuff they have. If back issues are something you're looking for, they definitely have you covered. Shoot, I found a ton of Star Wars that I can't find at many other shops. Plus they have a HUGE selection of Trade Paper Backs (TPB) and hardcovers. I only know of two other shops that have that many which they are in Denver and Colorado Springs. Now there are only two negative things that I can say. One is that it is hot there. Maybe it is because of the weather and it made it humid, but holy cow I was sweating both times I came to visit. Second is that they don't have all their back issues priced out and have to check them out at the counter. Granted they offered fair prices on everything I bought, it's just a personal preference that I like to know up front that I am going to pay a few dollars or $50 for a comic. Otherwise this is definitely a great place to check out I give it 4.75 out of 5 stars and look forward to coming back one day

Worth the drive from Westminster. I have my pull list here and Dottie and Kyle are some of the friendliest most helpful LCS employees I have ever done business with.

I am more used to board games and fantasy books than comics but the owners were extremely helpful with helping me get a sense of where I can start down this rabbit hole. Very excited now and will definitely be back!

Such friendly folks! Brought my 3.5 year old son in here to get his first comic book and they were so relatable-truly met him on his level, literally and figuratively. What an awesome seed y’all just planted for him, thank you!

Being a life-long collector of comic books, Time Warp Comics in Boulder, Colorado is the BEST store I've decided to visit. Reasons I state this include selection and pricing but also the great feeling I receive upon each visit. The shop owner made me his friend long ago, and his personality is mirrored by the staff. It's a 100-mile round trip for me to drive to Boulder, but it's a short distance when I consider what's "in store" for me when I get there. Thanks everybody!

It can be overwhelming for a first time comic book reader. There are just so many different genres and heroes and antiheroes and villains and story subplots and editions to choose from. And you can't just buy one comic because it's the fifth in the series of eight and you'll have better luck getting Park Place and Broadway on McDonald's Monopoly game than finding issue number 6. It's my first comic book store in a long time. Huge nerd, big fan of pretty much anything pop culture has thrown at me. I love all Cons big and small. I'm no slouch when it comes to being able to identify canon story arcs versus bologna. Coming here, to this store, it made me feel like an outsider. I get unwanted by both the comics I grew up reading and by the staff working. It's great they're finally using comics as a tool for education. It took them long enough. But I think that decision came too late like Custer at his last stand thinking, "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all." The plight, the queer state I found myself in visiting this store makes me never want to come and visit again. And I won't. This store has taken the things that I loved growing up and eviscerated them beyond recognition. The comic book world is a oversaturated market and will soon see itself suffocated if this store is any indication of how comic life is. Lost what little business I had to give now and in the future. I write this as a cautionary tale to others looking to indulge in nostalgia. Let memories be memories. Don't come to the place where dreams come to die.
