Walking into Bookwise Bookstore felt like stepping into another era, where time slows down and the scent of aged wood and printed pages wraps around you like a warm memory. I came in to sell a few books and left with so much more than just a transaction. The staff and the owner were incredibly kind …thoughtful, generous, and fair in offering me either money or store credit for my books. There was no rush, no pressure….. just good conversation and a shared love for literature. It’s rare to find that kind of atmosphere these days. The shop itself is a treasure chest of stories. With cozy nooks, eclectic chairs, and shelves that seem to whisper with the weight of forgotten tales, it’s a place that invites you to linger. I couldn’t leave empty-handed,how could I? I left with a beautiful copy of Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche, one of the great philosophical novels of all time. Even this book, like many on their shelves, felt as though it had lived other lives, carried other hands, other hearts, before reaching mine. Bookwise isn’t just a bookstore. It’s a living, breathing library of souls. I’ll absolutely be back, and I’ll be recommending this little time capsule of wonder to anyone who believes that books, and the spaces that hold them, still matter.

Great selection, I always find books here that I've never seen anywhere else. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the prices are fair. The front room is a pleasant clutter of new arrivals while the stacks are tidy and full of discoveries. I make time to stop by every few weeks when I'm in town.

I visited about 2 weeks ago; and not my first time. I meet Ryan and his family. GREAT people and passionate about the work they do at Bookwise. Visiting here is like walking into a time capsule. Books galore. You cannot help but smile and look around with fascination. Likely they have the book you need. Likely you will leave with more! Enjoy!

Huge used book store. Well worth the visit. Comfortable places to relax and sit.

this used bookstore was something special. not only because it was HUGE but the vibes were so magical & they had some great finds there!

Used book store. Sounds simple, but I was impressed with this one. Their engineering section had books that belonged in a graduate school library. I would have liked to fill my car with books, but unfortunately it was a rental. I am definitely planning a return trip.
