Half Price Books

I love this HP books, it has a lot of selection on board games and the book selection is great as well. The clearance wall is good too. I love their comic book section. Also they have chairs here and there if you need to take a sit down. The front is helpful when you need help looking for a book. I bought monopoly which was only $10. It had all of the pieces as well. I'm not sure if you can bargain for some of the prices because there was a few books that needed a few dollars taken away at the price. (I found a book I wanted but there was no cover for it) But then again it is mostly at a discounted or half off price. (You get what you get.) Definitely recommend this place because I have been here twice. It's definitely my favorite Half price books.

Really? I could buy this brand new, guarantee no scratches and they upped the price? Their pricing is getting out of hand. Not just for movies but their books too! I understand that they need to compete with Amazon but they would NEED to actually compete. This company is going to become the new Game stop laughing stalk.

It's hard to give any half price a bad review. I remember my pops taking me as a little kid, how magical it felt back then. As an adult, I takey.kids there every chance I get. We often talk about how we wish we could win the lottery and propose an expansion on select locations for an adjacent coffee shop. That's the only thing that would make this place perfect. We often go to Book People so we can work, but if Half Price had the same setup, we'd probably move in. I can't say enough about this place, every location. A gem in the rough of mass consumerism pushing new new new. Half Price is beloved.

Amazing selection of used books at great prices, and fun games, music, and movies. Selling here, your not going to get a lot for most titles, but you get something, at least. It's fun to search the stacks for good finds. And "used" is quite a range. The may be some notes, underlines, or marks, but many books are literally brand new, still wrapped. A wonderful place to spend a few bucks and an hour or two.

A bit of a niche review, but this particular Half Priced Books has been the source of a well beloved antique(ish) library My wife and I collect antique (1950 and earlier) books, and we would drop in about once a week or two. I'd always swing through the clearance section and find 3-5 new books, usually under $5 each. They had a pretty great antique section too with all sorts of options and prices. At the time of our move, we had around 400+ books, but with the stores we have around where we're at now, I wish I had stoppe in more (picture is about half the collection before being boxed up for the move)

This Half Price is awesome! It’s so big and their selection is excellent. I am not even much of a reader, but I can get lost in here for a while checking stuff out.

Went to donate 7 boxes of books and were told even if we were there to donate, we had to wait for them to go through the order. At least two sellers with smaller collections that came in behind us were serviced ahead of us. We felt compelled to stay in the area to ensure they kept on task processing our books. Then we were asked to go sit somewhere else. Next time I will donate to the Senior center thrift shop.
