One of my favorite parts of visiting an independent bookstore is the opportunity to listen to staff share their recommendations and love of books. This time a grandmother was looking for books for two preteens and it was delightful to hear the conversation. Beautifully arranged and comfortable ambiance throughout the shop. Will definitely return on my next Asheville visit.

I came to Ashville just to visit this bookstore because I heard so many good things. It is a quaint little spot with plenty of sapce to sit, relax, and get a good read on. They have a great selection of books among other things. I enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend!

I love this bookstore!!! It’s an Asheville staple and it is so important to support independently owned book stores! They have a nice selection of cards, post cards, stickers, planners, games, and puzzles, as well as books! They have many books of all different genres. There is a coffee shop attached to it, which is sweet. The staff can be a bit standoffish, but who cares when you are surrounded by books!

Great bookstore. Great place to discover local authors. I make it a point to visit every time I come to AVL.

I went to a poetry reading. I really enjoyed the poets and browsing the store before the event. They had a small PA and comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and helpful.
