Chapterhouse Books

More than "just books," Chapterhouse is one of my favorite local bookstores anywhere. Chapterhouse is building a community for good reads and welcoming spaces. The owner was able to help me with book and gift recommendations. They have events for all types of crowds. I highly recommend stopping in if you're a librophile or shopping for one.

Wifey and I stumbled upon the most charming bookshop off Route 66 in Amarillo, and it was such a wonderful surprise! From the moment we walked in, we felt incredibly welcome. Their diverse selection of books, combined with a genuine commitment to supporting the local community, makes this a truly special place. Amarillo is so lucky to have a bookstore like this—I only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!

I absolutely love Chapterhouse! It’s a great bookstore that has a good selection. Their monthly book club is a lot of fun and always chooses books that I’ve never heard of but love none the less.

My favorite bookstore. The selection is great, particularly with the sci-fi I like. The rotation of art makes each trip engaging. Lauren is very knowledgeable and kind making the place home.

An exciting edition to 6th street. A wide variety of books with many titles you won't find at other book stores in the area. Locally owned bookstore and ran by very welcoming people.

I absolutely love Chapterhouse! This is such a wonderful bookstore with a diverse, thoughtfully curated selection of reading material and the owner is amazing. They go out of their way to help with book and gift recommendations, and it is clear they are genuinely committed to supporting the local community. From monthly book clubs to events for all kinds of readers, Chapterhouse is building something truly special, a welcoming and vibrant space for librophiles and casual readers alike. What a great little store right on route 66! They haven’t been open for too long, and I suspect they will get more inventory as time progresses, but I thought they had a great selection for a small bookstore. I had no problem having a hard time choosing what I wanted to buy. There are lots of unique books and the owner was very helpful in helping recommend books based on our previous reads. Definitely check the spot out. There is also a section in the very back room of local art. There’s a little section of children’s books and some really fun bookmarks and tote bags and things too!
