Found a great selection of Calico Critters at a reasonable price, which is what I was looking for especially for my daughter. She loves them all!
Everyone is so nice at this location, but especially Alex! Alex helped me find a board game that I couldn’t find as well as suggested an awesome alternative book to one that was no longer in stock. Highly recommend Alex and this location in general!
This is no longer my go to source for books and magazines. Have gotten my Astronomy related books and magazines for over 20 years. But lately it seems they have just given up on the Magazine section. Have gone over the last week a couple of times to get the January issue of a magazine. It hasn’t been there. They have boxes of magazines on the floor waiting to be put out. Asked and a rude employee said when they feel like maybe they will go out! She then said I could just get a subscription. So I am going to start using Amazon for all my book purchases and magazine subscriptions as well. So much for supporting a local store.
Loves the Albuquerque Westside B&N. The friendly and professional staff make this place a go to for me. The added bonus is you can by a book and proceed to the coffee shop then open the book and dive into the first chapter. Nothing better than a good book and a cup of coffee, the perfect combination.
It's amazing there up to date got so much selection for everyone coloring books, games, comic novels, stars wars, dc, TMNT they got puzzles , board games. Amazing everything laned easy to find a selection of different pens and free book markers
I really like this location. It is clean and has a very friendly Staff. The selection is pretty good and their displays are very well organized. I have mixed-feelings about the Cafe Staff, but recently they've been pretty good. The parking lot is not great; it's very high traffic, small spaces and space spaces. You mostly have to park in the adjacent lot of the abandoned Toys R Us. They have a great Story Time with Miss Haven. That's awesome. The Saturday morning ones are pretty lame and last for A single story with sometimes activities. I don't recommend those ones hosted on Saturday. OR if B&N is reading this, please get some enthusiastic Staff for Saturday who is going to put the same amount of effort as the Friday Night one. Otherwise I really dig this location. It is not as BIG as the Coronado Mall one, but I prefer this one for sure.
Dont have much for compact disc's anymore haha...not sure what I was expecting! Best bookstore on the planet though for sure! I can get lost in there all day
