Books galore! Not to mention a solid Manga selection if you're looking for that. Nice coffee shop in the back and restroom if needed. I gave 4 stars cause the bathrooms are in some pretty dire need of renovations.

Exactly what a Barnes & Noble should be like. Beautiful store (featured recently in the show Pluribus) but more importantly: wonderful staff and insanely well-curated selection of books. Have never seen such a thorough Horror selection before. Lots of "high-brow" (NYRB, McNally, other small presses) fiction mixed in with the popular fiction. The staff knows books and are always super helpful. Funny that, other than Organic Books in Nob Hill, big box (nothing wrong with that) Barnes & Noble is the best bookstore in Albuquerque.

Love the atmosphere of the café and the upstairs section has a nice reading area. They were super helpful in getting my book reserved and picked up in like 4 days. I personally like paying at the café in the back after getting something from Starbucks

Typically, Barnes and noble employees are kind and helpful. It’s 9 in the morning and I'm confronted with the most rude/impatient man working the register. I tried to be nice and not give issues. I was under the impression that I did not have rewards so I wanted to sign up… when he said I already had an account he slammed the drawer and verbally expressed annoyance. When my gift card didn’t go through the first time and I was having trouble, he felt the need to vocalized his annoyance yet again with more sighs and grunts like you don’t work at a register. I’d rather take my business elsewhere than be treated like garbage while trying to have a relaxing morning at the book store. Somebody needs to be trained on customer service.

A throwback to the grand old bookstores of yore; they even have a section which sells Vinyl. I love a Kindle as much as anyone since I travel constantly but the warmth of books and browsing on a cold winter's day is comfort food for the soul. For something even warmer, there is an in-store Starbucks.

I never leave the bookstore empty handed. I always find something I'm interested in reading. They even sold wrapping paper here during Christmas. It was awesome because no other place in the mall had wrapping paper.

Staff very polite and kind despite how busy the store was. Very clean with wide variety of books and a few neat games, DVDs, and CD. Definitely will be coming back for another cookbook. Only downside is that escalator was not working.
