Blue Ginger Day Spa

I've been living in the Wilmington area for 7 years, it took me until now to find the perfect spa. Atmosphere is so inviting, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Kristi gave me a wonderful facial and great advice. I would highly recommend Zeke for any of your massage needs. Thank you Blue Giger!

I go to Blue Ginger Spa for facials and they are fantastic! I see Kristi Davis and I've been to her for the last couple of years. She's wonderful! I've never had a bad experience there. The waiting area is very relaxing and really sets the mood for your appointment. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. It's beautiful. I would definitely recommend Blue Ginger Spa and Kristi Davis.

Zeke did an amazing job! One of the best massages I’ve ever had. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. I’ll def be going back to see him! Everyone was super friendly there too and the atmosphere was very soothing and relaxing. 🙂

My parents live in wilmington and i bought them a $150 gift certificate each for christmas 2012. My father had a good experience (massage) and my mother had the exact opposite (massage). She apparently ended up being put with an extremely inexperienced massage therapist who after asking my mother what she needed focus on, did not follow any of the directives my mother gave her. What's worse is when my parents called many times to speak with the owner about this experience, she never called back nor did she email. They were constantly put off being told the owner was too busy to come to the phone. My mother has lots of experience having massage as i've been a massage therapist for over 20 years and she knows the difference between a good and not so good massage. As the owner of a very busy healing arts center, I can not imagine not getting back to a client after a first phone call, let alone many. I say stay away from Blue Ginger because in spite of the fact that they may have some decent therapists there, there is certainly one or two not worth the money you are spending AND it's run by a woman who seemingly doesn't care if you have a mediocre or bad experience. Blue Ginger lost the $300 per year i typically spend with them for my parents.

I scheduled a much needed appointment with the receptionist for Saturday and rearranged my day around the appointment. As someone new to the area and a monthly spa visitor, I was excited to find a spa who provided exactly what I needed. Much to my disappointment, I had a voicemail from the same receptionist laughing saying that she had scheduled me on the wrong day and I could not be seen. You gain a new guest and have someone reach out and leave me a message that it is funny I cannot come to my appointment? I understand mistakes happen, but that is certainly no way to treat a new guest. I will be telling everyone I know about the lack of professionalism at this spa. What a shame!

A wonderful experience. Ginger was my massage therapist and she was wonderful. Make sure you do at least an hour! The hot stones are out of this world!
