I had a good experience with a haircut at this salon, so I thought I would have a good experience with color. I booked an appointment today for signature cut highlights and gloss with a level 5 stylist. Electricity went out midway during the appointment, totally not the fault of the salon, we made due with the cold water and natural light. Unfortunately, because they couldn’t blow dry my hair – understandable – I went home with my hair wet. I assumed all would be fine with the color. Man. I was wrong. I got Home, dried my hair, Nothing remotely close to what I asked for. The first picture is the picture I showed the stylist versus what my hair looks like. As you can see, you can’t even tell I got highlights. Disappointed is an understatement. Not something you want experience when you drop over $200 for a service.

Ok so basically I don’t know how to book for haircuts lol… I picked the wrong type of appointment for what I wanted (learn from my mistakes folks and read the descriptions). Anna didn’t have enough time to do what I wanted. Totally my fault, but Anna handled it so perfectly. She was so incredibly kind and went out of her way to clear out an entire day and set up the appointment for me. Then, she still gave me a wash and a blowout so I could leave feeling pretty. It was obvious that she loves making people feel beautiful, and she did a phenomenal job! She even made sure every product she used was safe and beneficial for my curly hair and scalp (since I’m recovering from a pretty serious scalp infection). Conversation with her was very comfortable, and the service was great. For me personally, you can give me an amazing haircut, but if you’re rude or the vibes are off, I am not rebooking. Anna’s respectfulness was all I needed to know that she’s an amazing hairdresser. This is the best hair experience I’ve had in a while, and it was such a simple one! I definitely recommend Anna, especially if you’re a teen or young adult!

I had a great experience at this salon! I called and they got me in just a few hours later. The space is beautiful smells amazing and everyone was so friendly. My stylist Daylen was super gentle with my tender head and really listened to what I wanted. She did an awesome job thinning out my very thick hair in a flattering way – love the cut! Highly recommend.

Went to 202 Beauty Lounge for the first time yesterday. I was pretty nervous to have someone new cut and color my naturally curly hair. Angelica dry cut my curls and quick colored the roots and I think it turned out AMAZING!! My first dry cut and I was excited to try it. She did an incredible job. The shape and layers of curls look so good! The quick color on the roots looks great, and matches my natural color really well. Booked my second appointment before I left! Highly recommended Angelica for anyone with natural curls 10/10

Shelia did amazing on my hair the last time I went, and I’m so ready for a refresh on my next appointment coming up. Such a beautiful relaxing vibe also. Everyone is really nice.

Kady Hunt has done my hair twice now and is AMAZING. She does a great job at walking you through the process and setting realistic expectations. She listened to every concern I had and answered every question I asked. My hair has turned out beautiful both times, with no bleach damage. She is very open and honest about pricing (something I’ve never experienced with a hair stylist before). She made sure I loved it after, and offered to fix anything I didn’t like. If you need a good hair lady, go to Kady Hunt!

100% recommend 202 Beauty Lounge !! This will be my go to salon from now on. The environment is the perfect balance of professional yet personable. Everyone from as soon as you walk through the door to when you leave is very kind and client oriented. Katelyn was my stylist and she was beyond wonderful ! She booked me for a FULL day and remained generous and patient for the whole 7 HOURS. I am a pregnant woman and she accommodated to that extremely well; she continued to make sure I was comfortable and that I had everything I needed. Katelyn has not only great customer service skills but talent as well !! She took my hair from botched and bronze to bold and blonde in just ONE session. I am super excited to go back and use her services again.
