Onyx Salon and Wellness Spa (NOTO)

Okay, here's a review you can adapt: I recently visited Kiley at Onyx Salon and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered some great suggestions based on her expertise. What impressed me most was Kileys attention to detail. She made sure every strand was perfectly in place, and the final style exceeded my expectations. I've received so many compliments on my hair since the appointment! I love Kiley and would recommend her to literal everybody!

I had my hair done by Kiley Egnoske over the weekend at a wedding. She was nice, but I was very disappointed. I paid $70 for a half up/half down and the down pieces to be curled. She asked a bridesmaid to come over and help her figure out the best way to hide a bobby pin. It didn't get really work. Fine, I guess. As she's curling my hair, I have to ask her to spray it with hairspray because she missed pieces. The part that upset me the most was that my hair didn't stay curled. It went basically straight in minutes. She re-curled a few pieces, but they STILL didnt stay. I don't curl my hair often, but when I do, it stays for a least a couple hours! I'd like to add that the bobby pin was not a big deal exactly, but it combined with everything else just left me feeling bad. While getting my makeup done, I mentioned to the makeup lady that my curls were falling and she agreed and said maybe she'll redo it. After my makeup was done, I went to look in the mirror and she was talking to Kiley and pointed at me. No idea what it was about but I thought it was to redo my hair. Everyone was so busy though. I assumed she'd eventually fix my hair but she ended up leaving. I had another bridesmaid curl my hair before the ceremony AND IT STAY THE WHOLE NIGHT. Maybe Kiley just needed to hold the hold on the curler on longer or use a better hairspray, (the bridesmaid had extra strength hold) but you'd assumed someone coming to do a wedding would be prepared for all kinds of things. I will add that I am not the only one at the wedding who was disappointed or had issues and had to redo their hair either. I feel like the job that was done was not worth what I paid. I will update when I can with pictures because I didn't take any, but the professional photographer did.

I wish I could give a 5 star rating but didnt go to the right person at the salon. You will have awesome hair as long as you DONT go to NATALIE! She didnt do what i wanted at all and I went in with hair half way down my back and now it is just below my shoulders. So took way to much off and it was horribly uneven. There was a chunk of hair in the front on both sides that was longer than the rest. One side was an inch longer and the other was almost 2 inches longer. But I contacted the salon and the owner. WHO IS amazing fixed it as well as she could.

I went to Kiley to get my extensions!! She made them look flawless, she got my color exactly what i wanted and she was able to keep conversation about everything. She pays attention to detail and exceeds my expectations everytime!! I love her and would recommend her to literally anyone!!

Kiley Egnoske has done my hair the past couple of times I have come in and it looks absolutely amazing. Hairstylists I’ve gone to in the past haven’t given me exactly what I’ve asked for and I often left feeling disappointed. Since going to Kiley, I leave every time feeling really good about myself and my hair. Would definitely recommend

I absolutely adore Anika! She listens to what you want. She makes suggestions. She always double checks before doing anything! It’s so refreshing to have a hair stylist that is this patient and helpful!

Kiley’s been doing my hair for a while now and never fails to amaze me. She’s constantly growing, learning and finding ways to perfect her craft especially with being fairly newer to the industry. Her personality is amazing and she took the time to make sure the end result was better than my expectations. My hair girl for life!!!
