Amazing experience!!! 10/10 all around. Rachel was AMAZING. This was my first time going to a salon and I am so happy with it, she gave me exactly what I was wanting and I will definitely be back. The salon is also sooo cute and clean.

The team is positive, helpful, and clearly inspired by the environment she’s created. And now they’re expanding — and honestly, I couldn’t be more proud. Growth like this doesn’t happen by accident. I had the most wonderful first time experience today at Highlights with Hannah Haynes. She is professional, listens to you, shares her thoughts. When speaking to her you instantly know she knows her stuff. About first 2 sentences I knew just let her handle it. Wow! She did a fabulous job on my color, cut and style. I highly recommend her and she came highly recommended to me. Thank god! You will not be disappointed at all. Thank you Hannah!

They got me in the same day which was awesome. Aubrey did a SUPERB job. As a 20 year hair dresser new to town I was very confident in her skill as I was watching her cut my hair. She did all the cross checks and even finished it with precision after the blowout. Well done! She was very engaging and friendly. Also, she encouraged me to check out her work and tell her if I didn’t like anything. I absolutely loved everything about it. She is a gem to your salon. Thank you for everything.

Chelsea has been coloring my hair for two years and is an amazing stylist. We do vivid bright colors and my hair has consistently stayed healthy. The girls that work there are funny, friendly, and have a great energy and a happy space.

A Hair Therapist Who Gets It Right Every Time I’ve been going to Chelsea Burbines for years, following her from Sessions in Daytona, and when she opened her own salon, Highlights, in South Daytona, I knew I had to check it out. Let me tell you - this place is absolutely adorable. The second I walked through the door this morning, I felt completely at home. Chelsea helped me choose a gorgeous dark brown/red demi-permanent color, and she took the time to really educate me on my options. Her assistant was wonderful too, making sure I was comfortable during the whole process. What I love most about Chelsea is that she’s like a hair therapist - she creates this space where you can talk about anything and everything, which just makes the whole experience so much better. The session wasn’t super long either, which I really appreciated. She was also totally cool with me bringing my daughter since there was no school today. That kind of understanding means so much to busy parents. Here’s the thing - I have extremely curly, long blonde hair, and I don’t trust just anyone with it. Chelsea actually understands how curly hair works, which is so rare to find. She knows what she’s doing, and my hair always looks amazing when I leave. If you’re looking for a great hair stylist, I can’t recommend Chelsea and Highlights enough. The whole salon is full of awesome stylists who are ready to take care of whatever self-care needs you have. You absolutely will not be disappointed.
