I had an amazing experience at this hair salon. Josey, the owner, has excellent customer service and made me feel very welcome. The stylist did an incredible job on my braids very neat, clean, and exactly how I wanted them. I’m extremely happy with the results and highly recommend this salon.

I am very disappointed with my experience at this salon. It was honestly the worst salon visit I’ve ever had. I was charged $400 for incomplete work and did not even receive the color I requested. Despite booking weeks in advance and sending the hair in for coloring, I ended up spending over 6 hours at the salon. I had taken the day off work to prepare for a wedding the next day, but I was kept waiting while other clients were prioritized. I’ve since spoken with others who’ve had similar experiences—clients with appointments being set aside so walk-ins can be prioritized to avoid losing business. That’s completely unacceptable. To make things worse, I drove 50 minutes to get there, and when I specifically asked for the hair to be dyed halfway, it was dyed all the way instead. The color was applied carelessly and even stained my Nike sweater. When I reached out about the issue, I was told to come back the day of the wedding to fix it—exactly what I had wanted to avoid. Since nothing was finished properly, I ended up having to go to a different salon. I later spoke with the owner, who offered to color another hair for free and said he would do free the hair he sells at a discount. After seeing the hair and price, I asked for a refund instead but never heard back. Would not recommend.

Very good folks here. Fast and very efficient. They don’t fry your hair and they give a good wash which is needed cuz your hair will be under hair. Really liked how soft they were. Didn’t say ouch not once!!! Gentle!

Ive been to this salon several times for various services and brought my daughter once for a sew-in. I wasn't happy with my first experience but they were very nice so I went back for something different. I had my hair blown out with the ends trimmed (see first pic below) and was very happy. This style and trim was done in early April so I went back today to have my hair shaped into a layered Bob style. My hair was to the middle of my neck when it was blown out but it needed to be evened out. I provided him inspo pics (see second pic) and specifically said I need my hair long enough for braids and sew-ins. I went to my car in tears after realizing he chopped off most of my hair. I'm not a confrontational person and my daughter was hungry so I left without incident but to say I'm upset would be an understatement. I've paid hundreds of dollars on braids and sew-ins to grow out my hair and within minutes, my money went down the drain. I personally wouldn't trust him for this service again but my daughter did have a great experience with getting her bundles installed and styled.

I had an amazing experience at Beauty by Josey. It was so streamlined—I scheduled my appointment the day before and was taken to the shampoo area within 10 minutes of arrival. The braid down and install was seamless. Everyone was friendly and focused. I’ll definitely be back! Don’t forget to bring cash which is the preferred method of payment.
