I had the most amazing head spa experience with Annemarie (Annie)!!! She greeted me with the warmest kindness and even offered refreshments — such a thoughtful touch that instantly made me feel cared for. She is the definition of professional and passionate. The level of education and knowledge she shared completely elevated my entire experience. She didn’t just perform a service — she truly taught me about my scalp health. She started with an in-depth scalp analysis and followed it with a detailed explanation about scalp wellness, what she was seeing, and how to properly care for it. I left feeling so confident in her expertise and fully trusting her with my hair. The room itself is warm, inviting, and incredibly relaxing — the perfect atmosphere to unwind. And the actual head spa experience? HANDS DOWN the best I’ve ever had. Every step felt intentional, luxurious, and rejuvenating. She is thoughtful, authentic, and truly cares about her clients’ results and overall wellness. If you’ve been thinking about booking — this is your sign. Do it. You will NOT be disappointed. I recently relocated to Santa Rosa from the East Coast and felt a bit overwhelmed when searching for a new salon and stylist. However, I am thrilled that I chose Dolce Vita! The salon is stunning and offers everything needed for a pleasant visit, including a coffee/tea bar and convenient parking behind the building. Alley did an amazing job with my hair! I hadn't had a haircut since April, and she made sure I got the length and style I wanted. I decided to lighten my hair and get balayage with toner, and Alley did an excellent job. Additionally, she was delightful to chat with. I want to express my thanks to Alley and Dolce Vita for making my visit so enjoyable and memorable!

I went to go get my hair done by Alyna!! I’ve never been to this salon!! I’m very picky on Who I allow to do my hair! Alyna truly is a professional at her craft! She really listened to what I wanted! I left feeling amazing!!! The highlights in my hair are true quality!! She took her time!!! Service was amazing!! She also did an amazing job cutting my hair!! 10 out of 10 experience!! And she’s my new personal hairstylist!! I highly recommend Alyna and this Business! The ambience is just very nice! You can relax with a nice drink!! I also met the owner of the salon and she was wonderful!! A true professional as well!! I’m very pleased with her business!!

This was my first experience having my hair done by a professional, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist. Madyson immediately put me at ease with her warm personality and professionalism. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered results that exceeded my expectations. My hair looks and feels amazing! I’m so glad I chose Madyson for my appointment and will definitely be scheduling with her again soon.

Since 2018 all hair care has been done at an Aveda salon in Carmel-by-the-Sea. This year I missed my post-Xmas visit to Carmel--hence no hair care. (Might sound like a crazy arrangement, but I tell her, "Okay, Letty, I'll be back in April so this needs to be a four month cut" based upon my next scheduled return. I didn't feel like making a 7 hour round trip for a wash-cut-blow dry. Tired of "combing" the reviews, I decided to take the plunge with La Dolce Vita. Lucky for me, the pool had been filled prior to my arrival. Ann Marie is, first and foremost, an artist that is highly skilled at her craft. She is also well-informed, capable of engaging with intelligence on topics well beyond the cocktail-party type of idle prattle characteristic of so many stylists while being held captive in their chairs. Also much appreciated: an obvious lack of visual tattoos. So, granted, my comments are based on one experience, but an experience that was worthy of a review. And I most certainly will return and update my review(s). For now, I will say that time spent with her---was shear pleasure.

I recently went to Dolce Vita for the first time and was given a hair cut that I am so happy with. The salon is an old and possibly historic home that has been transformed into a salon. They have created a warm feeling there. Everyone was nice, but special credit goes to Alyna who cut my hair. I was a little nervous to go from a bob to a short pixie and she did it beautifully. My hair was feeling a bit on the thin side and the new cut gave it volume, plus it is so easy to style. I've been enjoying the cut every day.
