Absolutely amazing experience at this salon, Ira took great care of me & did an excellent job. He has magic hands!! I had my hair trimmed, treated and styled beautifully. If i lived in LA this would certainly be my go to salon. I highly recommend Ira, he was so lovely and very talented.

I’m new to the area and have been on the prowl for a good salon. I stumbled upon Hair Designer’s studio during a google search after an unfortunate haircut at a local chain salon. I decided to book a haircut with Fahimeh after reading the great reviews. As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming energy. Fahimeh is delightful! She loves what she does and enjoys bringing joy to people. All of her years of experience really show. She is warm, courteous, and professional. She was meticulous with my haircut and made helpful recommendations without being pushy. I felt she had a vision for me and was genuinely excited to help me look my best. I was so impressed with the quality of my hair cut that day, I came back the following day for additional services (keratin treatment) and will be back for eyebrows and a facial.

I was recommended to Hair Designer's Studio by a friend. When I had my first (mens) haircut I had no idea that I would be making another friend. Fahema has been cutting my hair for 10 years now. I am always greeted by a warm smile and a hug and I feel like I'm treated like family there. Her attention to detail is second to none. She has been cutting hair for over 50 years and definitely knows how to do it. If you're even thinking about this place, just do it. It's a no-brainer.

Fahimeh is a true expert! She did a last minute updo for me for a wedding, and it was gorgeous. Also gave some great hair care tips. I only wish I lived in LA and could get my hair cut with her as well. Highly recommend.

It's always such a wonderful experience to see Fahimeh and Rae at Hair Designer's Studio! They treat all of their clients as if they are family members! With more than 25 years as a salon Santa Monica, I trust their wisdom and experience more than anyone else to do my hair. I always come away feeling like I just spent time with people who care about my hair and me! The prices are very reasonable, and the time just flies by when you're there! I can't wait to go back and see my "Family" at Hair Designer's Studio.

I was in Santa Monica visiting my daughters . Since LA is the land of beauty I had an extra afternoon To take care of me. I was overdue on getting a haircut (and color) and I called this salon and was able to Be seen by Rey for a cut. I am from Marin County and have access to salons, mostly more expensive. Rey Was so helpful and was able to take time to highlight my roots and cut my hair to give it shape and body and a bit of layer ( my hair is thin) in 90 minutes at fair price. What I realize is that a quality hair stylist comes from experience, knowledge and some one who really listens ( and sees) and Rey is just that. She is really good and did a perfect job blending what highlights I had. I will be back since I come down here quite a bit!

Amazing people, very kind and welcoming. I love their work both from Ray and Fahimeh. They always deliver and I always get out happy :))) I live 45 minutes away but I rather drive and go to them. Love the service, cleanliness and level of professionalism combined with friendliness. I recommend hair designers studio to everyone with 100% confidence 🙂
