Must be the cheapest haircut in the city - $8. My boyfriend got a cut and it took 10 minutes and looks as good as some of the $25 haircuts he has gotten. Great value (obviously isn’t perfect for 10 minutes but is as good as you can get for the time/money)

I feel tricked and scammed. I called in and asked how much is it gonna cost for bleaching twice specifically. The owner replied $80. When I got there, the owner said $80 is for bleaching once, double for bleaching twice. Somehow I managed to bargain it to $120 with a haircut and started getting my hair cut and bleached. After my bleaching session everyone was trying to persuade me into having the hair oil and steaming for $50 and I said it’s too expensive I don’t wanna do it. They said maybe $40 then. I still refused. Mentioning it’s my birthday, the staff agreed on giving me the oil steaming for free verbally and quite explicitly. If it had gone with that I’d be leaving a 5-star review because haircut is good and bleaching is fine. However, after I’m done I paid 120+20tip, they said it should be 160+tip. I needed to get more cash from the ATM across street to pay for that extra $40 which I was not going to spend if not for the FAKE free promise. This is upfront dishonesty. That’s the story. Last but not least, oil steaming listed on the poster out front is $35.

I do not recommend this salon. After my haircut, the layers were uneven and my hair looked frizzy and messy. This place is cheap, so if you only get a haircut once a year and don’t care whether it looks good or whether it leaves your hair difficult to manage, then maybe it’s suitable for you. But if you want a proper haircut, please don’t go—you’ll regret it. Now I have to wait six months for my hair to grow out.

If you have curly hair DONT go for a blowdry. They absolutely can’t deal with curly hair and for them a blow dry is to LITERALLY dry your hair. That’s it. So you go in there with your hair worse than what you came with.

We come from San Mateo just to get our haircut here. It’s really cheap, show them a picture if you want a certain style. If you are not satisfied, don’t be shy to speak up and ask them to cut more. My partner got a haircut and I told them to cut it more after the hair wash. After paying for the haircut and giving tips to the hair washer, cutter, it is still cheaper than any other $50 salon in San Mateo or elsewhere. They don’t speak much English so if you are trying to do something elaborate, it might not go as well. But I only got a trim/ thin!

Nice service, pretty good haircut, some of the hair places felt judgy but this place felt comfortable. they werent all that good at giving massages but I was going for the haircut and shampoo and definitely got my moneys worth. Ganna try some other places in the future but may end up sticking with this location

Decide to come to this place to get my haircut, since my son told me that they are very good service in cutting hair. So the lady saw me out side nicely ask me you need a cut... So I went in with her to get my #1 all around for just $7.00 👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣 for the CNY.
