Lee's Haircut

Horrible Haircut, but again it’s only $14 so u get what u pay for. They forgot to do a lineup even tho I mentioned it, didn’t trim anything on top like I mentioned, and the sides are all crooked. Didn’t do any fade or blending either, I’m going to my regular barber today to fix it. Sometimes saving a few dollars ends up costing u more money and time.

I’ll be back for sure! As of 2025, they’re offering a standard fade and trim for $14 ($8 for Mil), which is about $25-30 less than comparable shops in the area. Really an incredible deal. Most importantly I’m happy with my cut but there are a few other benefits: I waited all of 5 minutes to get in the chair which is also something that I care about. The cut was also no more than 10 minutes. In and out in under 20 minutes. One of the cool things that I really liked is that all the clippers have a mini vacuum built into them, so when you get up, you’re not really dusty or require an immediate shower, which is good if you’re in the middle of running errands. Additionally, they’re open every day of the week which is also unheard of. Super convenient too, right on Miramar road across from the base. Plenty of parking.

Affordable pricing for a good haircut. Please arrive by 5:30 because the door is closed by then (as opposed to the sign which informs 6PM as closing).

Great Place that does military haircuts. Why wait 1-2 hours on base when you can come here and get in and out quick with a great haircut and pay less than base. A typical Sunday staffs 7-8 barbers.

I first went to Lee’s Haircut in 2001 while stationed at Miramar. For the four years I was there, Lee’s was my go-to barbershop. Fast forward to 2022—nearly 20 years later—I returned to Miramar and was amazed to find that Lee’s was still going strong. Even more impressive, she remembered me—not just me, but also my wife and my son, who was just a baby in a stroller back then. Lee’s Haircut is hands down the best place in town for military haircuts. Unlike the base barbershops, which can be overpriced and inconsistent, Lee’s is professional, and gets you regs at a lower price. Plus, they staff appropriately on weekends, so there’s no ridiculously long wait or the SNCO/ Officer cutting in front of you. Cash only.

I’ve gone a few times and have had good experiences. Haircuts are fast, affordable, and follow my instructions. Plus, the conversations I have in there are delightful. Be sure to bring a photo of what you’re looking for, if you’re asking for something complicated. I would highly recommend Edit: they messed me up pretty bad and I cannot go here any more lol
