Luxe head spa / Japanese head spa rockford il

They were so wonderful with my daughter and her cousins. They all had the Japanese head spa & got permanent Jewelry. I recommend luxe 100/100.. and the ladies gave them a rose for Valentine’s Day & cupcakes

I was so excited to try the Japanese head spa and left really disappointed with my experience. I bought the Ultimate Luxury package for $175. I was expecting a relaxing experience. What I experienced was aggressive scrubbing of my head with shampoo for an excessive amount time. It got to the point that my scalp was starting to hurt and I was wondering if I had scratches on my head with blood. When conditioner was applied, it was the same treatment. There was no relaxing scalp massage. Everything was rough and aggressive. The conditioner was washed off of my hair almost immediately. I though that I would have had a mask soak on my hair with a hot towel and a nice relaxing head massage. Instead, my hair was knotted when the treatment was over and I was afraid that my hair was going to break when being brushed out. When it came to the facial- it was a quick wash with no make up removal and then a mask was applied. When it was removed, a quick lathering of lotion was put on my face, but no facial massage. It wasn't worth the extra cost to have both done. I did not have any steam used on my face or hair either although that was stated in the blurb about the service. The room was very chilly and would have benefitted from space heaters or a heated bed. Also, when the service was done, my hair was mildly blow dryed with fingers. I have curly hair and when it was partially dry/wet, the lady brushed my hair. I left looking frizzy and feeling embarrassed to be seen in public. If the blow dry treatment wasn't part of the package (which I believe it was), I would have paid extra to have my hair blown out with a round brush. You might ask why I didn't say something to the lady- she didn't speak English very well and I don't think she would have been able to understand me. Overall, for $175 service, I'm extremely disappointed and do not plan on returning.

I loved my experience at this head spa. From the very beginning, I felt very comfortable and relaxed. My massage therapist, Elii, was amazing; I really appreciated her attention and professionalism. I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend it! ✨

I took my little one for her birthday and she had the time of her life. She loved every moment of it. Eli made sure my little one was comfortable and was very sweet with her throughout the whole session. We will be coming back.

The ladies at Luxe Head Spa are phenomenal at what they do!! We were on our way to Galena for a short trip and my daughter and I booked the mom/daughter head spa package. It was so incredible!!! The room was beautiful and so relaxing! We both enjoyed our massage and experience 100%! We’ve continued to talk about how nice it was all day! We also got the hair dry and it left our hair silky smooth! Our visit was so great and we wish we lived closer, we would return for sure!! If you live near Rockford and haven’t visited, you are missing out!! Thank you Luxe for a great start to our relaxing mini vacation! 🥰

This experience was above and beyond! The ladies at Luxe were amazing and did a fantastic job. I’ve never felt more comfortable or taken care of, and my scalp is so clean it feels brand new. When I had trouble booking through Groupon (do not buy the Groupon, book directly, learn from my mistakes!) the owner reached out to me to make sure I could get my appointment scheduled. It is worth every penny and then some!

Pro, Con, Growth I want to say the spa experience it's self was very enjoyable but I do see there is a lot of growth. Con- We were greeted but they did not introduce theirselfs so unfortunately I do not have names. Con- We were not offered a water We had to ask Growth-We started with the magnifying 🔎 process to see if we have any product build up or dandruff. But had nothing to compare it to. I think having a book of images would be helpful. Pro-The next step was the head spa, facial and massage which was great. Con- When we were completed we paid for a drying service that was we could get the full experience. Well unfortunately they only had 1 dryer and 1 drying brush for two customers. So one of us left with their hair not fully dried. Growth- We also were not shown the images of what our skelp looked like after the cleaning which would have been beneficial. Con- This service was paid in advance but unfortunately was not communicated to the other person so when we were done she asked for payment and had to ask another women for confirmation. That women proceeded to ask if they should charge the card on file. Again already prepaid and spoke with them earlier in the morning to verifying since I do have a receipt. I will be checking my account periodically to make sure I was not double charged since they seemed to have been confused.
