Heather is amazing. She's such a joy to work with, she clearly loves what she does, and is extremely skilled. She took the short cut I wanted and made it work so well with my hair. I could not be happier with the cut.

I had an amazing experience at Chi Wah Organica. I had an emergency hair situation, I had a terrible matted knot in my hair and I happened upon this salon. Where most other salons turned me away or didn’t have the time to help me, Chi Wah saved the day and quite literally, my hair. She spent her one free hour of the day carefully detangling this monstrous knot and then even washed my hair after with a conditioning mask to help with any damage from being tangled so badly. I haven’t seen care like that from someone in a business in a long time. Chi Wah really cares about her customers and the services she is providing. I don’t actually live in the area, just visiting some family, but I will 100% be back for a haircut from Chi Wah when i visit next. Thank you for saving my hair and caring about what I was going through!

This place has been on my radar for a while and I finally set up my appointment when I saw their big rainbow sign in the window as I drove by the other day. They were able to add me to their schedule last minute and Heather cut my curls to perfection. I feel bouncy and boing-y. Definitely will be back, I’m so happy!

Wow wow wow!! Best service I've ever had done! I had the scalp treatment head spa service done today with Paige and it beat any massage, shampoo, or pamper service I've ever had. It was not only great for my scalp and treating my specific needs but was almost 2 hours of non stop scalp and head love!! The stress and tension i carry above my shoulders is a lot and this service was pretty much tailored to relieve and rejuvenate that! Paige was so gentle and never rushed one part of the process. Head massage, scalp brushing, scalp mask, exfoliation, shampoo, steam cap for 40 minutes, brushing and I opted for the blow dry after that. I will 100% be booking again and suggest you do as well! Thank you!!

Head Spa Scalp & Hair Treatment Review: This is the only service of its kind in Rochester so it was worth every penny. My hair feels healthier and lighter after one session. My frizzy wavy hair now has a more sleek defined curl due to health restoration. Chi Wah is personable, friendly and happy to share her expertise.

Chi Wah is an amazing hair stylist, definitely recommend for Asian hair and styles. She is very warm to talk to and holds great conversations as she works on your hair.

A year ago I gave a five star review. I had to change this review due to a recent experience. I received an estimate and went in for a consultation before my appointment for highlights. My estimate (which I received via voicemail and email) was for $260. When my service was done and I went to pay, I ended up being charged over $750!! After my Aveda rewards coupon of $75, I paid over $675. At no point was the price increase discussed by Chi Wah or the two women she was training during my service. I can understand an estimate is approximate and not a solid number. However, a bill over $700 without prior discussion is unethical and shocking. I am equally disappointed with the lack of understanding by Chi Wah when I tried to kindly express how concerning the price jump was and never heard back after two attempts. As such, I will not be returning, despite my time there as a client.
