Had a great cut from Myk! She really rescued the mess my hair was in. She was thorough and did a great job. Also she was kind and easy-going too! Great haircut experience! This place seems to really prioritize the customer experience 😊

I began my journey with The Hype Hair Academy on Jan 8, 2024. It has been a fantastic journey. We are experiencing true on-the job training in a very successful salon, ran by our instructor. Our third week into class and we have shopped for our own kit supplies including ordering custom shears, learning the true value of what our tools and equipment cost, learned roller sets, how to use a Marcel curling iron, applied color to another stylist, and attended our first Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce event, where our instructor gave a presentation that continued on the themes of our education. If you aren't sure what has been holding you back from committing to this career, give The Hype Hair Academy a look. I am certain you will find them evolutionary.

It's rare that you can bring in a picture of a hairstyle on a model that looks nothing like you and walk out with exactly the cut and style that's perfect for you because the stylist took the time to talk with you and listen to what you want and need. That's exactly what Gabby did and I love my haircut! Gabby did a great job taking 3+ inches off my long heavy hair and turning it into a precision blunt cut that shines and swings and is so easy to style. I'll definitely be booking with Gabby and Hype in the future!

Shout out to Hillary and her instructor!! I love my haircut and they make you feel so comfortable and they actually consult with you about what you want and they totally give options and their advice about how it will look when styled and the best way to make your cut look stunning! Desperately needed a bang trim and these gals were quick to fit me in! They were kind and welcoming from start to finish and not only trimmed by bangs, but improved on them and taught me a little more about how to better style them as they are still new to me.
