My stylist was Ally and she did amazing! The wash felt so nice and I lived my hair. She really is great at conversation or a really comfortable silence. She was super knowledgeable and helped me a lot. The salon is beautiful and offers great coffee or tea selection and really sets the mood for a self care day.

Samantha did an absolute amazing job! I was hesitant about bangs for a curly wolf cut but i couldnt be happier. Very welcoming vibe and my layers look fab. If your looking for a new curly hair stylist, Samantha's your girl.

Amanda is AMAZING! I’ve been going to her since we moved to Raleigh 2 years ago. Highly recommend for fun colors. We did calico colors this visit and I’m obsessed 😍

Shayla is lovely and very attentive. She listened to my request and asked pertinent questions during the process. She is extremely skilled and precise! A great experience and a great outcome…..already made my next appointment with Shayla!

Ally is the best! When I moved to the area 5 years ago, I tried many different salons and stylists, and had trouble finding a place that felt welcoming and unintimidating. From my very first appointment with Ally, I was sold! I booked with her originally at Alter Ego, and liked her so much that of course I had to follow her to Salon Deux. Ally is such a kind and talented stylist, and ensures the salon is a warm and approachable environment each appointment. From a simple trim, to a full head of color, we’ve been through it all together – and she kills it every-time. Don’t hesitate to book your appointment with Ally! Anyone who is lucky enough to sit in her chair is sure to walk away feeling confident and heard. ☺️

I’ve been going to Alter Ego for a very long time. Salon Deux is great! Thankful for all the love put into styling and maintaining my curly hair. And huge thanks to the amazing Meghann Holland (within an hour of leaving my appointment I had a compliment and an inquiry of who takes care of my curls.)

I’m never going anywhere else, this was an introvert’s dream. The environment is so nice and chill, they have tea and coffee for you. Downtown but they actually have parking. I got compliments on my hair for the rest of the day. Ally did an awesome job and also let me just sit there so quietly in peace, I almost fell asleep with how relaxed I felt. Will return for sure.
