TAME + glossy: A Keratin Specialty Salon

This was my first time a Tame and Glossy and I had such an amazing experience! So far the results are exactly was I was looking for (I have super curly long hair and want pin straight hair), since this is my first treatment, I may not truly get the post-wash results I want until after a few more treatments for the keratin to build up. I’ll definitely be coming back to Tame and Glossy for more! Lizz was amazing!

I got a keratin treatment from Liz around 3 weeks ago and I’m so glad that I did! My hair feels so smooth and healthy and styling it is a breeze. My hair was previously very frizzy with uneven curl patterns. I used to blow dry my hair everyday with a round brush and it would hold up for an hour or so before it would start to frizz. Now, my hair remains frizz free all day, even after riding my bike in the heat, with a helmet on! I was happy to see that my hair maintains some of it’s natural texture when I let it air dry. Instead of frizzy, uneven curls, I now have soft, loose waves. Also, the process of receiving the keratin treatment was easy and painless, they have an excellent ventilation system so there were no unpleasant smells or fumes and Liz is a lovely person to spend a few hours with, the time flew by! I will definitely be back!

I was so excited to visit TAME + glossy! The salon is welcoming and relaxing and Lizz was a pleasure to spend 3 hours with. I was able to work during my appointment and the time passed quickly. They must have an amazing ventilation system because I didn’t notice any strong odors. My fuzzy hair is surprisingly smooth and glossy. I will be telling everyone I know about it and look forward to coming back!

I had a great experience with Lizz. I came in because my hair is curly, frizzy, and difficult to deal with. She is very personable and made me feel comfortable. We started off with a good chat and then I opted to watch a show while the blow dry and style happened. I am obsessed with the immediate results and am hopeful that it’ll improve my styling time.

Lizz was great! I texted her because I have very thick hair and wanted to be sure she could allocate the right time and she responded immediately. While I've had Keratin before, she was still very thoughtful and described the entire process to me (which was different than the last time I did it in a different salon). I'm also really impressed by the precautions taken to eliminate the chemical smell -I didn't smell the chemical at all. The entire process was relaxing and fun. I love my new, straight hair!

Liz is amazing! She listened to my hair woes and gave it her all to give me the smoothest hair possible. She was also great company and so fun to chat with. The salon itself is cozy and has great vibes. I highly recommend Liz and Tame + Glossy for all your smoothing treatment needs!

Had an appointment today with Lisa for a keratin treatment. Loved my experience! Lisa was incredibly detail oriented and I really felt like I was in great hands start to finish. She took the time to go over my previous hair history, as well as making sure I fully understand my aftercare instructions. The salon was super cute and clean, and their ventilation system is no joke! My hair came out amazing and I’m already so looking forward to my next visit 🙂
