Ginger & Maude Hair Salon

I just had the best haircut of my life at Ginger & Maude. I tried them out for the first time, and Robin knocked it out of the park. I am so happy. Thank you for listening to what I wanted, and then performing some sort of magic on my thick, long hair. My locks look beautiful. 🩷

I used to love this place but my latest experience left me quite disappointed. I booked an Ultimate Tinsel appointment. You are supposed to receive 100 hair tinsel pieces. I was very excited. Two hours later, the stylist has only put in about 15 or 20 and says to me when the appointment is almost over that she finally warmed up and is getting the tinsel closer to my roots. Not what you want to hear. Anyway, I got home and discovered that there were pieces sticking up because she didn't know what she waa doing and a few weeks later, most of it has fallen out. I have now booked an appointment with a local hair tinsel specialist. I complained after debating (because I do like the stylist) and was told that because it's been over two weeks they won't redo or refund. Ridiculous! And apparently they have to ask their Education manager about refunds. She clearly isn't very good at her job or the stylist might know how to do tinsel. They really shouldn't be advertising this service! I'm going to dispute with my card company because I shouldn't have to pay for this crappy job. Despite the response from the owner, I'm pretty sure the website said Ultimate. In any case, even with the Full, I should have gotten 50 hair tinsels and I definitely didn't! Oh and the stylist even said I was supposed to get 100 tinsels. Again, he/they/she doesn't seem to know what they are doing. Oh and their Education Manager wrote to me and essentially said it was my fault the tinsel was falling out because I exercise???!??? I've had tinsel many times before and it's sometimes lasted six to seven months and could definitely withstand a ponytail. As far as I can tell, they really enjoy antagonizing people who complain and won't take responsibility for subpar service. As someone whose family worked in the retail industry, this is not a good way to deal with clients.

Melody was lovely. She listened attentively to everything I requested and went above and beyond to make sure it was right. She was personable and so easy to feel comfortable around. I know she’s somewhat new, but she is great already and is going to be a master in no time at all. I’d go back in a heartbeat. 💗

10th grade was starting in 2 days and we entrusted Kel Hayward to do their magic. Amazing! My daughter left with her favorite cut yet! Thank you Kel! *Thank you Ginger & Maude- when DeDe, also incredible, wasn’t available, I wasn’t worried, I knew someone else perfect must be there.

Wonderful experience! Stephanie is amazing and helped give me exactly what I was looking for. I love my new bangs. She also gave me lots of practical tips for styling at home!

Celeste gave me a fantastic haircut! We had good conversation and she listened to me when I told her what kind of cut I wanted. I walked out of the salon feeling fresh and sassy which is exactly what I wanted! Thank you Celeste!!

I had such a great experience at this salon! A really sweet & small space so there was never too much noise going on. The hairdresser I went to, Alex, was so attentive and kind. I have short curly hair and she did a great job with cutting it dry. Plus she was as they call "new talent" so a haircut with her was far more budget friendly than many places around town. I love how my hair turned out and would definitely go again!
