I can’t say enough good things about Shayneece at Guilded Fox. She did an amazing balayage and cut for me, and I loved it so much that I brought my daughter in for her very first curly hair appointment. Shayneece was so patient and educational with my 11-year-old, teaching her how to care for her curls, the importance of moisture, using the right products, and giving her a cut that looks great curly or straight. The appointment was longer than a standard cut, but the experience and education made it completely worth it. It was such a special first salon experience for my daughter. Even though Shayneece is newer to the salon, she is incredibly skilled. She’s kind, funny, and truly passionate about what she does. I’ll absolutely be booking with her again and recommending her to everyone I know.

Such a great salon! I have had my hair done by Shayneece three times now (two blowouts and 1 curly cut) and each time she was professional, fun, and informative on how to take care of my curls. I was running late to our appointment yesterday and when I arrived she did not rush through our time, but continued to provide the best customer experience to make sure I left feeling satisfied with my hair, which I really appreciated. Definitely my go to curl girl!!

Andrea is a true gem. I met her in Los Angeles more than 15 years ago, and she helped me fall in love with my curls for the first time. Years later, I am still seeing her at her bright Portland studio. She is a skilled stylist and also a beautiful soul. I'm so grateful to have her and her team in this pocket of the world!

I’ve been with Shayneece for two years! She’s amazing at cutting hair and has helped me over time learn how to style and take care of my hair! She has a great welcoming vibe and I wouldn’t trade her with another stylist for the world. She makes sure to attend to your hair needs and concerns, gives great styling advice and the product recommendations have really helped me build a solid routine! Shes also pretty funny lol, she’s a pro at her job and a lovely stylist ☺️.

Top notch salon located in a cool old house on Belmont. My stylist Kai, was exceptionally attentive and talented. If you have curly hair, this is the place to go. They know exactly what your curls need and can teach you things you didn't know about your curls. They use a natural, clean product line. It is overall a wonderful salon experience.
