Taiji Oriental Massage

I am not someone who typically complains, but I was extremely unsatisfied with my visit tonight. I chose this place based on the great reviews and even drove 25 minutes out of my way to come here. I specifically requested a deep tissue massage, yet I left with the same knots in my back that I had before the session. At no point did the therapist ask about my pressure preference. The massage felt very light, almost as if I was being gently patted, and was not a deep tissue massage at all. I was very disappointed with my first visit. Afterward, I called to express my concerns and was met with an unhelpful response. The only thing I was told was, "I’m sorry, I’ll talk to my girls," which did not feel like appropriate customer service given the experience.

very professional staff worth every dollar to spend on yourself to real get a ture massage. nice welcoming place. extremely good massage. go there in you have e paid this place has great personal to help recharge and relax your paid. they are no expensive . give a great service so go there for sure in my opinion.

I had a 90 min deep tissue massage, it was so good, the technician knows all of pain points and worked them out, felt so much relief.

Hubby and I decided to get a massage one Sunday and were looking for a 3 pm appointment. I found Taiji via Yelp and we called the Fair Lawn location but they didn’t have availability. They told us they had a Pal Park location that had the time slot we wanted, but it was two single rooms (which was fine by us), so we booked that one instead. The space (lobby area and rooms) looks a lot more modern and newer than most other similar massage places. The massage itself was good. My masseuse checked in a few times to make sure the pressure was fine. There are also hot stones included in the $50/hour massage. Overall, it was a good experience and I would come back, especially since it feels clean. Tip - it’s located on a Main Street, so there is no parking lot but it wasn’t too busy in the area during the time we went, so street parking is not impossible. Just make sure you leave enough time between finding parking and your appointment time.

I had a very good massage with Rachel. I went for 90 minutes (60 min full body, 30 min foot reflexology). The reviews of this place are very hit and miss. I would say definitely ask for what you want. They first offered me a chair in the open area. I said "no", preferred a private room. They originally tried to put me with someone that had questionable reviews, I said "no" and got Rachel. Massage started off "light", I used google translate on my phone due to language barrier to ask for a firmer massage, got exactly the pressure I was wanting. After getting over these bumps in the beginning, I settled into 90 minutes of bliss. I would definitely get a massage with her again!

Serene ambiance, highly skilled professionals, and very friendly! Combine that with their reasonable pricing, and you have yourself something that you will always look forward to! These people have literally helped me get back the full use of my body! Every technician (masseuse) has a different approach, and you need to pick the one that suits your needs. We drive an hour+ from New York to go there, and it is a small sacrifice for what we get in return. Please try this place, you will be glad you did!
