Hair Straightening: Envy Me Hair Salon

I am using my father’s account, btw. I am happy to say that I love Clara’s approach to treating my hair. I used to relax my hair. I have been coming to Clara for close to two years and she is a perfectionist. She has also taught me how to treat my hair when I am home. I see growth in my hair that I have not had, ever. I will continue to see her and I highly recommend her.

Clara has just gained a customer for life. I came in yesterday for a pro addiction treatment that I desperately needed ASAP. The process is long and tedious but it is WELL worth the time and money! Clara made sure every strand of hair on my head was perfect and I walked out with the silkiest head of hair I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve had many good stylists throughout the years but Clara effortlessly showed me that she is the absolute best of the best. I live 40 minutes from her shop but I am more than happy to take that drive and come home with fantastic results. Thank you so much Clara! 💐💐💐

Clara did the most amazing job on my hair yesterday. I’ve struggled with my curly hair my whole life and wanted to finally go straight. She didn’t take any shortcuts, she made sure she got every strand of hair straight. I will be sure to use her again. Thanks Clara for such a good experience.

I have natural, coily/curly hair that I love, but I wanted to change it up a bit (straightening) WITHOUT the permanency of a relaxer. I was always reluctant because I never thought my hair could be straightened into a smooth, silky style without chemicals. WELLLL—I was all the way WRONG! Clara was amazing and is clearly the guru expert of getting super tight, "black girl magic" coils to lay down smoothly—silky, shiny straight. Even my color looks better, Clara knows what she is doing! Plus, she is into the overall care and health of your hair. My ends were pretty bad, so she clipped the split ends off, giving me a beautiful classic bob style with soft bangs, which I love! Thanks for the new look without relaxer Clara— I’ll see you soon!!!

I came to this please because of reviews. They weren't lying nor exaggerating. Carla knows hair. I took my 12 year old and my 14 year old. They both have curly long hair, which at times would get really tangled and unmanageable. I wanted to do something that would help manage their hair better. She recommended Keratin. My girls hair came out amazing. My girls are so happy and so am I. I loved Carla's attention to detail and care for my daughters. Definitely recommended.

I first came across Envy Me Hair Salon and Ms. Clara when I was on a quest to find a stylist who does Japanese Thermal Straightening (Liscio) on Afro-textured hair. So I emailed the salon, and Ms. Clara responded in a prompt manner and informed me that she would be able to do it once she evaluated the state and condition of my hair. On May 11 of 2019, I arrived at her salon, and she determined my hair wasn’t strong enough for the Japanese Hair Straightening and that an Organic Keratin/Botox Hair Treatment would be more suitable for my hair. The Keratin Treatment was the best recommendation and decision because my hair has been thriving ever since she applied the treatment. Moreover, I am able to wear it bone straight when silked out, and the treatment has slightly loosened my curls when it is in its natural state. From May of 2019 till now, May 2021 (apart from the lockdown due to the pandemic), I’ve made several visits to Ms. Clara; she is about 2 hours and 30 minutes from me. With the Keratin/Botox Hair Treatment, I have far less shedding, and my curls are more manageable. I enjoy the recommendations, at-home product care she suggests, the atmosphere, and most importantly, Ms. Clara’s professionalism with every visit. My services always come out great, and she always starts my services on time. Ms. Clara is a stylist who cares for her client's hair and her clients in general. She has even rearranged the salon to suit the customer's needs during social distancing. Envy Me Hair Salon is a great place to get your hair care service, and I will continue to take the two-and-a-half-hour drive to get those services. Pictures below show my shedding prior to the Keratin/Botox Hair Treatment and after and to date. The first picture shown is the amount of shedding I would always get and it would be three piles of that before shampooing, during, and after. The second picture is my first Keratin/Botox Hair Treatment by Ms. Clara. The pictures after is how slowly my hair stop shedding, and no there isn’t any underlying issues, my hair was just in a bad state, but it is has come a long way and far more healthier thanks to Ms. Clara.
