My husband planned the sweetest Valentine’s Day surprise at Burke Williams, and it was exactly what I needed after a long, busy week. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt special. We were greeted with macaroons, cider, and a beautiful trail of rose petals, which set the tone for a relaxing and romantic evening. We both booked 60-minute massages, and they were incredible. It was the perfect reset for our bodies and minds. After my massage, I spent about 10 minutes in the eucalyptus steam room and then 15 minutes in the sauna. I usually hit the jacuzzi too, but I didn’t want to take a second shower, so I skipped it this time. My husband spent about 20 minutes in the sauna and followed it up with the cold plunge, which he said was the perfect way to end the experience. We wrapped up the night sitting by the fireplace for about 15 minutes before heading out to a late dinner. We spent a little over $500 with tax and tip, and honestly, it was worth every dollar. The service, ambiance, and overall experience made for the perfect Valentine’s Day evening. I’d definitely come back for another relaxing escape.
The spa amenities does it. The Jacuzzi sauna and social rooms were great. The staff were a little tricky. Been here on off about 20x. Great massage b4. Masseuse this time started clock late. Stopped early. Then manager addressed it. But then tried to charge me for a massage other than the pure relaxation. That was more expensive. Tricky manager. Changed my massage . Tricky masseuse. Enjoyed everything else. Just happen to be a bad masseuse. Still recommend thisb place. Ask for receipt when booking though so they don't quote mistake book more expensive massage. The masseuse seemed uncomfortable and inexperienced. . Did not seem relax , exuded stress and talk to fast. Fidgety . Did not seem like a professional masseuse or take his job seriously. Just should be trained to work on spa presentaskills. I therefore did mot feel like I got the quality I paid for. Underline
I haven't been back to Burke Williams for 3 years and I've missed it so much! I tell my son it's literally my favorite place besides home. Upon checking in, I went ahead and signed up for a membership again because I was happy to be back. The staff member who checked me in was so sweet and cheerful. It was a great start. I began with a deep tissue massage with Lydia. Oh my gosh, it was blissful! She focused only on the areas I was having issues with, which I appreciated. I felt the pain and tension in my neck and shoulders release, and I felt so relieved after. I took a nap in the quiet room. I loved how they have blankets. My only issue was the door handle was so loud so any time someone came in or out, it would startle me. 😬 Still, I took an amazing nap in there. I then got a spa style facial with Bridget. It was phenomenal! I left glowing! Checking out was great. I was helped by a sweet woman with gorgeous red hair. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I do miss the sweet lemonade they had and the vanilla lemongrass tea. The apple cinnamon tea was okay, but hopefully it's just seasonal. Overall, I am so excited to be a member again and return every month.
Burke Williams continues to provide the most relaxation & restorative experience in Orange County. Unlike the small spas in hotels, the large facilities here have the space to accommodate large parties and still feel intimate. From the moment you walk in, guest service invite you to experience a warm & nurturing welcome. There are multiple spaces for jacuzzi, hot dry sauna, steam room, mist room, social room, & quiet room to enjoy. I love the waiting room with fireplace and the comforting vanilla citrus tea to enjoy while waiting for your therapist. All the therapist go through special training on top of their certification, to ensure your treatments exceed your expectations (especially from the smaller spas, where you never know where they’ve worked before). Very fortunate to have Burke Williams relatively close to my home, so I don’t have to drive up to Los Angeles.
Love the service and staff. Everyone is friendly and they all smile and greet you when they see you. Lots of amenities. I love being in the quiet room and the social lounge. The women’s spa/locker room is a little small but all the guests were really nice about sharing the area. Robes don’t have pockets!! I guess they don’t want you to have your phones with you. But there’s only one clock and it’s in the locker room! So I wasn’t able to determine what time it was to go to the common area to wait for my appt. There are no clocks in the quiet room so I kept having to leave to see what time it was.
My first time at Burke Williams, and I loved it! Viviana was my massage therapist and she listened to me and was gentle and made the experience really enjoyable and wonderful (I had a bad experience before where I was in pain for weeks, on a cruise line massage, and was nervous). I loved it so much I will be going back to her!
Love Love LOVE this place. BW staff is so kind and friendly. The decor is relaxing and inviting. I've only gotten massages here and they've been wonderful! This locations boasts a eucalyptus steam room that is incredible. I withheld a star because the quiet room is uncomfortably exposed.... Its like little open cubbies. They also provide little individually wralled refreshing towels for your face in the quiet room that is so complicated and loud to open 🤣 well- for me it was. Otherwise, this place is well stocked ans staffed. It's easy to find and just off the freeway. There's shopping and dining within walking distance and charging stations for EV.
