The Nailery (119th & Blackbob)

I have been going here for years. I moved and do not get to go as frequently but try to go when I am in town. I went yesterday and I’m in so much pain. The nail tech rushed and my nails look horrible. They will need to be done in a week (if they are healed) due to how unevenly she filed them. Even my husband noted how bad it is.

Loved our nails, super good prices. Always very clean and fancy vibes. Always been my go-to for nails. Great with walk-ins or even booking an appointment online is super easy. I've never had a bad appointment. And the ladies are all so kind.

My daughter and I normally get a pedicure here, but this time, they went above and beyond. My tech was doing a great job with an ombre gel effect for a beach wedding I was attending. I had requested palm trees, which she did well, but she didn't like her work. She erased it and called over another tech who she said would do a better job. Did she!! Thanks, Nailery!

I used to love this place and back in the day and the mall location was good too. I think they split bit I digress. They’ve gotten poorly lately. I have questions about sanitation after observing nail techs not clean drill bits, clippers, cuticle scissors, between clients, not wearing gloves or mask when working. This is the first time I have observed lack of cleanliness stuff but it doesn’t matter it’s a big safety deal with blood-borne pathogens. That alone will keep me from coming back. It took 2 hours to get a pedicure, 30 min waiting on the couches, 40 min waiting in water waiting for a tech to open up, then a very long pedicure. They took a lady that came in 20 min after me, with no appointment, first, because she complained. My time is valuable and I don’t appreciate it being an all day debacle if I go in. They do a rushed job anymore. I have observed techs working on two customers at once several times this year. The last 4 times I have gone they have been out of all the colors I asked for so I never get anything close to what’s supposedly available. And, they’re higher price than other salons with better reviews. I’ll be shopping elsewhere from now on. 65-68$ for a really poorly done rushed pedicure with the wrong color is insane.

I saw Tien for the first time (based on her great Google reviews). She exceeded my expectations! I asked for sure a difficult Nd unusual look for my full set and she was not afraid to bust out the Christmas garland to make the look complete. So extra and I love them!!! I will definitely be going back to Tien and would 100% recommend her to Nyone looking for awesome nails.

Trang ALWAYS does an amazing job on my nails. These holiday themed ones have already gotten SO many compliments. I’ve been going here for years and would recommend to anyone. Affordable prices and attentive staff. I get greeted by name and they always make time for anything I need!

I went to The Nailery and Sierra did my nails. She did an amazing job, some of the best service I’ve had! I definitely recommend going to The Nailery and asking for her. She is literally the nicest and coolest person and she is so good at doing nails!
