Astou African Braiding & Beauty Supply

I don't write reviews often, but I had to write one for Astou's African Braiding and Beauty Supply because of their expertise. One thing that has been very important and consistent with getting my hair styled at the shop is the continuous health of my hair over the years since 2020. Speaking specifically, my beautician, between braiding hairstyles, is always so happy with the strength of my roots, the lack of damage to the edge of my hairline, and my growth. It is significant when a seasoned hairdresser tells you that the shaft of your hair has no damage at all from the braiding. It can be difficult to find such talent, and as a customer, I am grateful for Astou Braiding's genuine kindness and talent. My braids always look beautiful and complementary!

First time getting my little girls hair done by anyone but myself or her dad. Had to do some research before picking this place. Astou did an amazing job . Educated me with some hair product that I could use. Thank you so much!! I would recommend her to anyone!!

I’ve been coming to Astute African Hair Braiding for about 15 years, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. It’s a family-friendly establishment where you always feel welcomed and comfortable. Every time I leave, my hair looks amazing and beautifully done. Just wanted to show my appreciation for Astou, she did an amazing job today on the corn rows! I've gotten my hair done by her before but it was the first time I got color extensions on my hair and I really like how it came out! She added her own unique touch to it and I couldn't have left feeling any happier, thank you!

Great service. So fast and efficient. What I asked for to what I got was great. Last picture was the inspo pic from their other location. Will be going back for future styles. Kept braids in for about 5ish weeks. I would've kept them in for two month if I didn't work out so often. I got so many compliments and truly enjoyed how confident I felt. Couldn't tell me nothing.

Myeshia did braids for my 6 year old daughter. She loves them! We enjoyed her amazing personality and professionalism. She was patient and all around great vibes! Definitely going back again. 🫶🏼

Long and slow process but the results are fantastic. i did a boho style. Looking good for a 68 year old white girl!
